So my kind of ex is in Farmhouse and they had a pledge retreat and their shirts have a squirrel on the back drinking from a straw in a beer can.. it is hilarious. So I got one of the shirts... love it.. and i am the only sorority girl with one of them! All my sisters are envious!

I think it just a word for squirrel, no particular breed unless there was one on the chapter campus that came up with the idea of using the squirrel as the mascot. I don't think it was Alpha.:) |
White Squirrels
In the 1970's, some white lab squirrels escaped the Western Ky labs and started to breed with the "locals"...as the population grew away from campus... there genetic problems so there was a white squirrel roundup but there may be a few more around campus or nearby.

In michigan, we don't really have grey squirrels, we have like the big fat red squirrels. Skirious is actually a grey squirrel. Skirious being greek for "bushy tail". I went to Rochester, NY to see my ex b/f while we were still dating and we were having a picnic by the river and I saw grey squirrels there and I FREAKED out, b/c I have never seen a true Alpha Gam grey squirrel!!

Conker's Bad Fur Day
Katey, My boyfriend has a Conker's Bad Fur Day T-shirt! It has him passed out with his head in a toilet...and says "shhh...conkers is taking a nap" lol.
The game itself is pretty cute, but very M for mature. I tried playing, but my patience ran dry trying to perfect his "helicopter tail thing" which lets him fly over things. I let my boyfriend play and I just watched him. I has the greatest movie spoofs I've seen! My fave is a Matrix spoof where Conkers and his girlfriend shoot at the bad guys flying across the room in slow motion. |
I want a conkers shirt!!!! My roomates have the game. I am not really a game playing kinda gal, but it's funny to watch. I like when he has to go to the rock people bar and he has to get drunk and pee on things. THat's funny. But you are right, it's very M rated!!!

It's this game for Nintendo 64 called Conker's Bad Fur Day. It this really fun really raunchy game kinda like a Mario game in the way that you have to do stuff and clear worlds and stuff but conker is this really wild and crazy Squirrel and he has to do tons of stuff that is related to drugs and alcohol and sex and stuff. Not for a young audience, but really funny for "big kids". There is this one part where he is talking to this King Bee who is totally smashed and he's talking about how much he loves this Sunflower and how he want's to "Polinate" her. So, conker has to find these Pacifist "Tickling" bees to tickle her and then she starts laughing and her leaves open up and she has this HUGE chest. Conker then has to jump on her chest and bounce up to this new path!! It's the dirtiest game but it's really funny too!!

There are actually white squirrels all over WKU but there are A LOT more at University of Louisville, where I am from. Those squirrels are vicious though. They will see someone sitting with food and come up and almost attack you for it. There are tons on that campus, not nearly as many on ours.
Cute story, last year at initiation everyone was finished getting ready and we looked outside on the house porch and there was a white squirrel, all ready in her white for initiation! Sarah |
