I LOVE YOU HATERS!!! You give me inspiration and energy!

I know chat is supposed to be taken lightly compared to other, more-serious political platforms. I enjoy chatting with people older than me, especially about politics. Most of you have given me a lot of insight, and allowed me to see things from different prospectives. Some of you remind me of my high school classmates, who are usually riding the 'C' train, 'D' train, or 'F' train. Before you assume I'm riding one of these trains, I'm actually riding the A Train straight to Harvard in the fall. Just found out last night. Please, Please, PLEASE try and diss. I LOVE IT! LIKE I'M GOING TO LOVE HARVARD! You can also read about me in the NY TIMES in March and ESSENCE MAGAZINE this summer. After all, I'm the last girl anyone would think could go to Harvard. But Harvard can do that. They'll seek out 15 year olds with promise if they want to. I do mean to brag when I say, the Undergrad Enrollment Officials came to me. I didn't come to them. They came to me regarding three essays I wrote on what else: POLITICS!!! Lots of people counted me out. That just makes me work even harder, so I can hand them their faces on a platter. Now it's a silver platter from Cambridge, Mass.

this is just as good as the kid that had a major fail on his skateboard, and when he went to smack it on something, it flew back and hit him in the face.

And, as stated previously, prove it.

Heffa.

On the one hand, it makes a lot of sense that she's 15.

On the other, I'd play her in Scrabble for any amount of money.

Should any of you see this, before I see you again, I thank you again. I think you are all great.

I'm glad that my Sorors were such a great help. How is Harvard's childcare program? Will they have math tutors there, too?

Where are these folks coming from? Bizarre...

purehoney 02-11-2010 07:00 PM

did u 4get 2 mention..?

I actually think I read about Star' and a few of her classmates in another newspaper. If she's the young lady I think she is, she's enrolled in a half-private-half public program. Bill Clinton's Sec. of Education, Richard Riley, worked with President Clinton and the NAACP, around the time of beginning of the financial woes of Traditional Black Colleges. The plan was to find a way to enable Above-Average Teens from America's inner cities to go to Ivy League Universities. Teens that would probably never get the oppertunity to go otherwise. The program was a win-win. Intelligent inner city teens got to move on to Harvard, Yale, Brown, Columbia etc... with SOMEONE HOLDING THEIR HAND EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. (FAIR???) The Ivy League Institutions GOT FREE $$$ FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! (AGAIN, FAIR???) It obviously died out during the Bush years, but a friend of mine who works at Brown, said Obama and his Secretary of Ed. Arne Duncan started it up again, and plan to expand it with the help of the NAACP and UNCF.
