During this time, this battle was really serious among the fans.

Prince. For reasoning, see my answer in the NE vs. B2Men thread.
|
MJ...Prince lost me after Purple Rain a little...
|
Michael Jackson hands down.
|
Without a doubt two musical geniuses but I have to go with Michael!
|
I'm still dying to see Prince. I fear his halftime show at the Super Bowl a few years ago might be the closest I ever get.
|
Without a doubt: PRINCE
|
Having seen both in concert (Prince multiple times) PRINCE - hands down.
While both gave great shows, Prince is beyond compare. There is something about his stage magnetism that is mesmerizing. I mean he's this short skinny guy, but up on stage he seems like the sexiest dude you've ever seen ;) The year he did the "Heaven and Hell" theme tour, where the first half of the concert was all the "clean" songs, with blue and white lights, then the second half was the "raunchy" songs, with red and orange lights, not one person in the entire arena was in their seats - you just had to dance :) In the middle, between the two acts, when the stage hands were changing the set, Prince sat at a grand piano and played classical music while the work progressed around him, it was beautiful. He is amazing! |

I'm pretty sure it was the Diamond & Pearls tour, but maybe Lovesexy. Honestly don't remember. The other ones I saw were the Purple Rain tour when I was a senior in college, and lately Musicology (which was mucho expensive) with my husband.
If he comes again, I'll pay whatever to see him. I'll be the granny shaking my tail feather with the younguns. Amazing how ticket prices have increased from the 80's to now. I don't think I paid more than $25.00 or so for the Purple Rain ticket, but those Musicology tickets were over a hundred. Different topic, but I used to go to concerts all the time in highschool and even for a really big show like Queen, the tickets would be like $15.00. I wish I'd kept the stubs. |
PRINCE!!!!!!!:D
|
even I was one of those girls who cried during MJs appearance at AMAs....it is all about Prince for me. I can't really attest to this today, but back in the day, I was an authority on Mr. Prince Rogers Nelson.

What was the funnier Prince parody?
Jamie Foxx In Living Color: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7lexXAzrwc Dave Chapelle The Chapelle Show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtLLIYpf_XU What was the funnier MJ parody? Tommy Davidson In Living Color: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3H6h...eature=related Mad TV (here are 2 of the 4 or more MJ parodies): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kGW2...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Cv5k...eature=related |
In Living Color had the better impression, but Chapelle had the far better story!
I liked Tommy's MJ back in the day, but Phil Lamar's on MadTV was scarily accurate lol |
LOL.
I love Charlie Murphy. He was awesome years before The Chapelle Show. |

See now....you shouldn't be posting that picture in this thread...when I am looking at it at work....
