I have been waiting for this night for a very long time. This is by far the best show that has ever been on television in the history of TV. That is not an opinion. It's a fact. The final season is here!!!!!!!!! |
Seeing that 4-letter word make its way across my tv screen again is so wonderful :D |
I watched!!! Senusret I is greatly appreciated for the recap of the 20 min I missed!! :D Stupid hotel. I miss my dvr. |
^^^ Awwwww I'm glad you got to see most of it. LOL @ clicking on my profile and seeing the last people who had viewed it. Creeps! LOL |

I want to know why Desmond was on that alternate-reality airplane. He was never on the flight with them! And, I think he knows what's up or something, like when he shook hands with Jack. God, I am just so happy that it's back! |

If the bomb had detonated, then chances are he wouldn't have been on the island, which means he "could" have ended up on the plane in an alternate reality. |

 I don't know. I get so confused. :p |

Remember that the hatch only exploded in the timeline in which Jack was still on the island with Kate, Sawyer, Juliet, the temple, etc. In the timeline where the plane never crashed, the island was underwater. I am thinking parallel timelines and Jack is the only one who "remembers" both versions. |
Jack is totally going to remember since he had that little déjà vu thing going on. And Senusret, thanks for your comment because you're totally right. Alternate realities/ time lines are so hard to keep track of! |

I have such a bad memory. And when it comes to Lost, you need a good one in order to keep up. I should have never started watching this show. :p |

Here's my stream of consciousness reaction to the first episode of the season: MIB/NotLocke/Flocke/Esau/whatever-you-call him is Smokey?!?!? Welcome to flash-sideways,I guess. Why didn't they take Juliet to the temple, too? And what does she mean, "It worked"? Seems all kinds of effed up to me! Yay! Sayid is alive! Whoa to Charlie's "I was supposed to die" comments. Creepy. Who are these temple-dwellers?!? Was Richard on the Black Rock? Is that what Flocke meant by his "good to see you out of those chains" comment? So glad it's back on!! :D |
About _______ being on the Black Rock, that would be a big surprise, seeing as how it was a slave ship (right?) and he doesn't exactly look sub-Saharan, if you know what I mean. |
So, how is it that Kate and the marshall at LAX manage to go into an EMPTY Bathroom...yeah ok. And dammit, how many tribes of people are living on this dayumed island???? |
Well, it's because the Black Rock was a slave ship that I thought Richard might have been on it (because of the chains comment). You're definitely right about his 'look' not quite matching up, though. |
See during the Comic Con Panel for Lost my companions knew that Flocke was the smoke monster and told me...so glad they were correct. I think one reason why Juliet didn't get taken to the Temple, 1) Jacob did not suggest it to Hurley in time. 2) by the time everyone was at the temple it was to late, because of the flair...remember Sawyer and Miles followed behind them to the temple and were knocked out, they did not know the reason for the journey to the temple. 3) Elizabeth Mitchell is now on V. That look that Flock gave to Ben....THE MOST EVIL LOOK EVER! and scared the hell out of me. Also what freaked me out as that the island was underwater, I want to know how/why that happened This will be a good season |

It was mind-boggling to say the least!! This just opened up 15 more questions, but I guess that's what the creators were going for in true Lost style :) |
Craziness!!! I JUST finished watching it, and I have so many questions! I wonder if Locke was dead all along and Jacob took over his body a long time ago. Btw, I say go ahead and post about the most recent episode in here. I avoided this thread until today cause I hadn't seen the premiere yet. |

I'm just confused about this whole "two places at once" thing. What's really screwing me up is that Desmond is on the plane, as was Charlie. I thought at first that maybe it was all someone's dream, but then Juliet said, "It worked," and now I'm more confused as ever. And again.. my memory is horrible. Even if I want to create a theory of what happened, half the time I can't. Or I try, but realize later that it wouldn't work out after someone points out something obvious to me. Originally, I wasn't going to watch the re-cap beforehand, but I'm so glad that I did. I think I said, "Oh yea," about 10 times while watching it! |
Okay this whole Sayid thing. Two theories: 1) Jacob was implying that Sayid can't die because somehow Jacob's Nemesis would change into his body. And then everyone would be super confused. 2) Lennon lied about what was on the note. Sayid HAD to die so that Jacob could go into his body. At this point, nothing would surprise me. And so far, I prefer them to crash instead of this new alternate world. Things are so yucky when they land (Sun, I'm looking at you). Black Rock didn't occur to me. You've got my wheels turnin' ... |

Was it before Ben shot Locke? I was thinking that maybe Jacob took over Locke's body then. |

It took me a very long while to understand what exactly you were saying here. If this were true though...how could "Mr. Black"/Smoke Monster inhabit him (Locke's body) now? Quote:

I'm still waiting for there to be some significance to the airline losing the coffin. I know that on the second flight to get back to the island, Jack put Locke's body in the coffin to "take the place of" his dad, so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm also wondering if that's somehow significant to there essentially being three John Lockes (the one on the plane, the one dead on the beach, and the smoke monster)... And I'm still wondering what Locke/smoke monster meant when he said, "I want to go home." |
