This thread "kind of" took off in our forum in 2005, but has since died. :D

Basically, it's us remembering that something good can happen everyday, even when we think that the day, week, month or even year has just sucked!

This is kind of appropriate since tomorrow is new years eve.

One good thing that happened today, I found out that I get to wear jeans to work tomorrow! Lame, I know, but it made my day. :D

My puppy was groomed today and she looks great. (The last groomer didn't do a very good job so I'm extra happy.)

This actually happened yesterday but it's exciting enough to count for 2 days :-)

I finally have a job! After 4 months of being unemployed, I was so relieved to finally get that phone call!

12/31/09- I work in a daycare, in the infant room, the child that I find the most "annoying", thankfully left at 12:30 so I didn't have to stay until 6:15 tonight! Woo Hoo! That is definately "one good thing"

I am off work for the next four days, and found a lot of great deals when I was shopping today!

1/2/10 (weird, that's the first time I've written 2010 this year!) - My dad and I shared beer and calamari after skiing today, and then we heard a choir singing a Norwegian children's song outside! So cool! They were the Baker's Dozen from Yale, and they sang other stuff as well.

1/1/10 - The Bruins won the Winter Classic :D

I got a friend request on Facebook from one of my pledge sisters! :) I haven't seen her since 1989!

I had a great talk with my big sister today. We're not the "let's go BOND" type of sisters, so I enjoy rare talks like these. :)

My hair looks awesome today and I didn't even do anything.

1/11/10 - I had a pretty decent first day of work!

I was kind of feeling depressed and smothered, but I remembered a good thing from today!

2/18/10 - I found one of my favorite pairs of jeans!!! A lot of my stuff is still in boxes after moving back home, but I never thought these jeans could be in there! Woo hoo!

2/19/10 - I was invited to a birthday party from a friend from long ago. I dont think i can make it but it was nice to be considered!

2/18- Chi Omega came in third place with our fantastic dance at anchorsplash! It went off without a hitch and all the ladies did awesome. :)

I'm back in touch w/ the ace of my line, I missed her so much... And I'm sick, so my good friend brought me food, read to me from gossip sites and made me feel little better!!! :)

I am all caught up with my work!!

2/19/10 - Just ate some yummy Vietnamese spring rolls with spicy peanut sauce. My dad saved me some and didn't take all of them on his trip. Yay!

My grocery shopping is already done so I don't have to dread doing it tomorrow. And, I have great kids, really great kids. I not only love them as their mother, but enjoy them as people and that is very cool.

(I need this thread right now.. trying very hard to focus on the positive)

I was out of town all weekend and dreading coming home to teh crazy but...

One good thing is my kitty missed me too and is snuggling close.

1/23/2010 - I found out my two parking tickets were a computer mistake, so now I am down to just one and they took off the late fee (which doubled the ticket!) Was so not looking forward to the fight, glad it did not happen.

I heard back from a job that I applied to...I have an interview next week!

I didn't mind being at work today. It kept me busy and I worked on projects I enjoy.
