hey guys...i haven't written in a long time. school has been absolutely crazy. what is everybody up to? i wanted to hear how everybody is doing. please let me know!! i also just thought that i would tell you that the leadership consultant is coming to visit us girls at the alpha alpha chapter. i am a little nervous b/c i nerver have met a leadership consultant before so if any of you could tell me what to expect it would be greatly appreciated! talk to you soon!

There isn't a thing to worry about! The LC's are there to help you out. Last year, Heather Estes came to our chapter and I got to met up with her. She's now Director of Chapter Services and she's helped me alot this fall :)

I met her for a little bit last week in Georgia. She's very nice!:)

I LOVE HEATHER! She was our LC last year at Alpha Beta and she rocked.

Ok, im just gonna go back and edit that. For some reason since Heather's name came up I thought she'd be the LC. Duh! ok its been a stressful day and seeing her name made me happy.

;) so i met with our leadership consultant and she was the cutest thing...i did not want her to leave. her name is mariah and she is from texas she really helped out our chapter and we just had an amazing time with her. she gave us her email address so that we could keep in touch with her if we needed anything. it was really great having her here! well i just thought that i would give you guys that update. i will talk to you all soon.

Oh, I miss Melissa so much!!! She is probably one the best examples of what an Alpha Gam should be...and I'm proud to say that she is from Theta Delta! I'm so glad you liked her! And you're right, she's the sweetest thing!

I will be meeting with the Leadership Advisor next weekend.
Just recently signed up to be an advisor of Chapter Relations for the Theta Zeta Chapter (Randolph Macon College) and it has been a lot of fun.

my position is campus relations and i am having a really good time with it, but we have elections coming up in a few weeks so i will be running for a new position. i hope your consultant was as nice as mine :)

We are having an LC visit this week. Her name is Melissa. I don't know anything else about her does anyone on here?

SHE'S FROM MY CHAPTER!!! I absolutely love Melissa; in fact she is one of my favorite people! I hope you like her...she really is such a sweet person. Tell her Whitney said hello and that I miss her! Her biological sister just got to see her this weekend and came back to tell us how she was doing (her sister is an Alpha Gam too). If there's anything else you want to know about her, just ask. She'll help ya'll anyway she possibly can.

The most helpful info about an LC is actually what she likes to do. The last time an LC came down, we knew she liked exercising, diet coke and hated certain things. It's useful because we got to arrange taking her to out to eat at places she'd most likely enjoy and plan activities around her hobbies.

Well Melissa isn't coming I just found out today.. bummer. She was supposed to come for officer training stuff and about our COB efforts. Hopefully we will get to meet her sometime before her time is over though!

Last weekend I had the chance to go out to lunch with the Leadership consultant, Colleen and the VP of Chapter Relations that I advise. We had a great time and Colleen is a great sister.
She had some great ideas for us to implement and we will have a lot of work to do in planning. I would recommend Colleen to anyone looking to do fundraising activities!

Hey you guys! Well Melissa left today, but let me just tell you she is one of the best LC's I can remember. She was extremely helpful and we learned a lot. I was really happy to have her here! Just thought I would share for anyone else who is lucky enough to have her visit!

Well, we have had Colleen visit us this year for work week and formal recruitment. She is wonderful. We have also had 2 visits from Kelly the Senior LC. She was with us last spring at the chapters installation. She helped the chapter out this time around due to the fact of not having enough sisters to have an inititaion ceremony. I think that LC's get a bad name. They do such wonderful work for the Fraternity. Chapters need to realize that an LC is there to help them. They are there to make things better and not just spoil fun.
