Anyways, we have a least favorite thread, I thought it only appropriate that we have a favorite one.

I love old Christmas records from the 50s and 60s. It's what I grew up listening to. My favorites are probably "Buone Natale" by Sergio Franchi and an old record of Christmas standards by the King Family.

My favorite Christmas movies are A Christmas Story (the father is my favorite character. I swear it's modeled on my dad and grandfather!) and Miracle on 34th Street. My favorite Christmas special is the Disney version of the Christmas Carol. I used to get all teary-eyed when I was little during the part where Minnie and Mickey are looking at Tiny Tim's crutch by the stove. *sniff, sniff*

Movie: Christmas Vacation
Music: Any and all Trans-Siberian Orchestra! I have tickets in 2 weeks and CANNOT WAIT!

They are my favorite. This was the first year in 7 years we didn't go, and it doesn't feel like Christmas without Chris Caffery & Co.

I'm a huge Christmas geek with about 500 Christmas songs on my iPod. I think my favorite Christmas song is O Holy Night.

I love watching Elf, Love Actually, Rudolph, and the Garfield Christmas special at Christmas.

Have you bought their new album Night Enchanted? Very good! I'm really hoping they will eventually do a "non" christmas tour as, like I said, I've seen the christmas one many times.

OMG I forgot about this! We used to own the tape of Micki's Christmas Carol. Wouldn't know where it is if my life depended on it, plus we don't have a VCR in the house. I should see if Disney has released it from the vault on DVD.


I can't believe I forgot Elf and How the Grinch Stole Christmas!!! Two more great Christmas movies.

I used to really, really love O Holy Night. Then I sang it at church. By the 5,000th time I practiced, I was pretty much sick of it. Once in a while, it's okay, though.
