I LOVE Jade! I still listen to their tape (it is a tape) sometimes! What ever happened to Rude Boys (Gerald Levert's prodigies..."Written All Over Your Face). There's more...which is why I'm glad that BET shows Video SoulGold...we can see all of our old groups (that they wouldn't show on VH1's "Where Are They Now?")

Ditto.
My favorite song was "Not a Perfect Man..."

Mz. Sports Luva 10-17-2001 01:49 PM

What about...

Anita Baker? I know she left the scene to raise a family, but she really needs to put out another cd. I'm a big fan of hers.

And speaking of Xscape, I heard, on the radio, last week that they are making a comeback, but Kandi is no longer a part of the group.

Yes Kenny Greene that was his name. Yeah I heard it maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago. I couldn't believe it when I heard it either. I mean I knew that it was coming, because word was he was really, really sick, but when you hear of someone passing it still hits you kind of hard even if you knew it was coming.

As far as I knew, Sounds of Blackness was always a gospel group. They are still going strong...eventhough that lead singer woman left them a few years ago.
Tony Terry is doing gospel music, too. I forgot the name of the choir...but he did a song called "If You're Gonna Worry, Don't Pray." I love that song and I'm glad to see Tony back. I used to love "When I'm With You."

RENEEDST_22 10-18-2001 02:50 PM

Gregory Abbott I still have Love you Down on 45! telling my age,

The Doc was in a accident and his vocal chords were damaged!

I really miss him, you can catch him in cameo's of Dr. Dre and Snoop's videos.

Tonya Blunt was a real One Hit Wonder!

UTFO! Girl you must be in my age range!

Educated Rapper, Kangol Kid and Dr. ICE! :) I am having flashbacks of my youth!
