What did you dream about last night?
 

Sometimes I have some really funny/odd dreams that I forget to share with someone. Oh, you should especially share if it's Greek-related! I have weird Greek dreams kinda frequently (recruitment, seeing strange letters, etc.)

Ok, last night I dreamt I was speaking Spanish with someone, then I asked, "How do you say 'tuna' in Spanish?"

I also had a dream that the handle of my hair brush broke and fell into the toilet while I was brushing my hair. I looked in the mirror and my hair was orange and dripping wet (like the color of Tang). Ew!

I dreamed about a fraternity boy I should NOT be dreaming about.

I don't remember my dream from last night, but I often have very odd dreams involving my students.....my bosses......fellow teachers.....it's disturbing that I can't even escape the place in my sleep!

I don't remember my dreams. At least not enough to say what they're about.

I had a really weird dream a few weeks ago where I met all of live-in's deceased family members and they had the stanley cup frozen into the center of a backyard ice rink.

I had a dream about greekchat! No joke! I obviously need to spend less time here :eek: I had a dream that I was getting tons of PMs about not sharing so much information because people might figure out who I am (ie: like I was a PNM going through recruitment). Too weird...

Weird Stanley Cup dream, agzg!

I have been having very vivid dreams lately that I've been posting about on FB. One that I did NOT post about was the one in which my friend was a past version of her sorority's national president. Basically, for the Lost fans, it was like last season when Hurley and them found pictures of themselves in the 70s.

Oh yeah, I also dreamed that this dude I know in a Christian fraternity had an impromptu step show on my campus. I told him about the dream and he got a kick out of it. What I didn't tell him was that in the rest of the dream, we went on a date and kissed!

i dreamed that i was alternating between playing super mario and being IN the game. smh!

It was so frightening, I woke up seriously thinking I was having a heart attack! I'm glad I don't remember what it was, but I don't want to go to sleep tonight...

Horrible, creepy nightmare about it being the 1970s again. Everything looked like a faded photograph in orange and brown. Nasty old man coming after me at a Motel 6.

I had a dream about work. Woke up briefly during the night, fell back asleep, and dreamed about going to work and telling my coworkers about the earlier dream!

Yes, it's been a LOOOONG week.

I don't remember my dream from last night, but earlier this week I dreamed that I was the star of The Little Mermaid on Ice. My co-worker was there with his family and I skated to the side to give his baby a lei during "Under the Sea." I think I dreamed that because I fell asleep going over moves for a routine in my head. My double flip jump pwned but my red wig was hideous. :cool:

I was riding a freight train with some people from the GM social media marketing team. Makes sense, since I was just watching Risky Business while doing some social media stuff before I went to bed. The trains looked like that little bomb character from Mario Brothers, which also makes sense because yesterday I was at a bakery that had a cake shaped like that guy in their display. Oh, silly brain!

Being in Finland and forgetting my laptop for some reason...what was THAT about?

I had some weird dreams the last few nights. Of course the details are a bit fuzzy now, but I remember a little bit of last nights. I was shot......in the side of the boob! WTF.

I had a pretty weird one. It involved the news media showing this footage of a terrorist and even interviewing them on TV. Mind you this was while the cops were trying to find the guy. I remember thinking that the news could find them, but didn't tell the cops because they didn't want to loose the story. As you can probably tell, I'm pretty cynical when it comes to the professional news media.

I made a turkey sandwich, and I'm not sure if it was for me or for someone else, but the other person was surprised I was eating a turkey sandwich the day before Thanksgiving. Lol!

(I actually did eat one earlier today, too.)

I dreamed of a GC Member! i'm not sure why, but i think its because they were the last person i responded to in a thread before going to bed.

I remember the word "orifice." WTF?!

I dreamed that Jack from Lost was dating (and subsequently broke up with) Alex Cabot from Law & Order: SVU.

In another part of the dream, Mike Tyson and Manny Pacquiao were supposed to fight each other in this sport that was a hybrid of ultinate fighting, rugby, polo, and soccer.

Watching Talk Soup and snuggling with Michael Stipe. Oh, and he also had something to do with collecting the communion bread for our church. WHAAAAAA???!!!?!!

I remember is I was working for Starbucks for two weeks before Christmas so that I could make a little extra cash. My childhood friend & neighbor was the manager, so she could get me a job. I sucked at it. I don't drink coffee, so I didn't know how to make anything.

I kinda know where it came from--I was thinking about going to Victoria's Secret to see if I could work for a few weeks of break to make a little extra money. I have no clue where Starbucks came from though!

I dreamed about Precious. Such a horrible nightmare. :(

My very anti-Greek older sister and I were watching a silly movie about sororities and how they select members. I kept telling my sister that it was completely ridiculous the way they presented it. There was only one sorority on campus and you either made it in or you were a pariah.

So my sister asks how it's really done.

Sis: Do the girls who want to be in a sorority meet with girls at each chapter?
Me: Yes, they do. It's not like they only focus on one house where everyone is evil.
Sis: So how long do you spend with them?
Me: At first only about 15 minutes. Then the parties get longer.
Sis: You base your judgement of a person on only 15 minutes?!
Me: Well, at first we do but it's not as superficial as it sounds!
Sis: Do you judge them on their looks?
Me: Well, partly. But we all initially judge people in life by their appearance.
Sis: Only superficial people do that!
Me: No, it's not just superficial people.
Sis: Okay then what else do you judge these girls on?
Me: We look at personality, extra-curicular activities, grades. Lots of stuff.
Sis: Yeah, right. :rolleyes: But it comes down to being cute.
Me: No it doesn't.
Sis: Yes, it does!
Me: No it doesn't!

Then all of a sudden we aren't watching the movie anymore, we're hovering in the air in the back of my chapter's chapter room while MS is going on.

Sis: OMG they're talking about specific girls!
Me: Of course they are. How else can you do it?
Sis: I can't believe you're in a sorority! I just can't believe that you would do this!
And as my sister disappears through a wall I run after her yelling
"It's not that bad! Really! It's not!"

I remember being in a store, then going to the bathroom with a friend and saying that my mom had talked with me saying that I wouldn't be living at home after the summer so they would pay for my last season of drum corps.

I woke up depressed cause I thought I had figured out how to pay for it...

I dreamed that one of my fraternity brothers had been raped, and we kept it from a third fraternity brother. When brother #3 found out, he went ballistic and held me captive in his room. He broke a champagne bottle and threatened me with it. I tried to diffuse the situation by saying "Aye man, don't waste all that good alcohol!"

Too much SVU?

Probably, but my dream last night is probably due to wedding overload.

I had a dream that I was in my friend's wedding as a bridesmaid. This particular friend (in real life and in my dream) was already married, and she was doing a second wedding. She forced us to buy crazy designer dresses, and we had to wear veils. She wore this crazy looking torn up thing, which was Hermes (and believe me this is nothing they would want anything to with), and they spent three times as much on their second wedding as they did on their first. I remember that I woke up frightened but I can't remember what it was that frightened me. Probably sticker shock.

I had a dream that I was skiing in this HUGE indoor arena with one of my friends, and I was an amaaaaazing skier. Then one of my bindings broke and I had to call it quits for the day.

I wanna go skiing now...

I was pregnant again, but the way we found out was that my husband took the pregnancy test. He peed on the stick and it was positive and we acted like that was the most normal thing in the world!

What?? Lol I have those kinds of dreams (where something totally off-the-wall is "normal" in the dream) all the time.

I was asleep for 12 HOURS last night. I know I probably had mutliple dreams, but can't remember a thing!

I keep having this reoccurring dream in which I'm wandering through a village, taking pictures of old houses (a sort of hobby of mine) and I always end up at the end of a long dirt road (which was covered in snow this time) in a strange estate surrounded by a wrought-iron fence. There were a bunch of very dilapidated mini-houses that were about the same size as children's playhouses. They were scattered around this massive mansion with at least four storeys and huge columns holding up the porch and roof. All of the buildings were painted white but the paint was peeling and some of them looked as if they had been set on fire.

As I walked past the huge house, I could see four things heading in my direction. I couldn't tell if they were horses or if they were on horses, but they were white, grey, brown, black and coming straight for me! I had this horrible feeling that something terrifying would happen if they caught me, so I turned around and ran. They stopped as soon as I ran through the wrought-iron gate and then they disappeared. WTH?

OK I remember something. There were mermaids involved and I think I became one. There's a gigantic Ariel balloon in my apartment and I can see it from my bed. I remember opening my eyes periodically and seeing it bobbing in front of me, then I'd fall back asleep and dream about mermaids.

I dreamed that I ran into both my ex boss and an ex coworker, and they both asked me if I wanted my old job back. I basically told them to shove it. :) I think what I said was "you need to find someone who doesn't mind the repitition and lack of creativity."

Woke up with a smile on my face. It was awesome. :)

I dreamed that my friends and I went to Ice Cube's house because he was my cousin and he was having a family gathering. We were all having a good time. Then we went down to his boat dock. After we all went out on the boat, when we came back we noticed that one of our friends was missing, and we never could find him. I went back into the house to get my cell phone and someone had stolen my purse.

Yeah, sort of strange dreams seem to be the norm. Last week I dreamed I was a new freshman at a mid-sized university whose name and location I did not know, with several large fraternities none of which sounded familiar to me. The first rush event was like a concert held in the stadium with each fraternity having a big booth set up like at an old fashioned amusement park. You went along from booth to booth, grabbed a brew, picked up some literature, shot the breeze with the guys manning the booth and moved on to the next one. After hitting 3 or 4 of the boothes I thought this was a lot of BS so I walked out got my car and drove away from the stadium. I got about one block away where I saw a big party spilling out of an old Victorian house with lots of people on the gallery and the lawn. They looked familiar so I pulled over and went to the gate where some of the guys grabbed me and pulled me inside saying Hay Peter you are late man. I realized most of the guys were people I had known in high school and a lot of the girls were ones I knew from the Catholic Girls high schools. I checked out the pins on the guys and they were from a local which closed down before I got to college in the real world. The rush chairman and the chapter president came over and said your pin has been waiting for you since last summer. WTFO? I asked how could that be and they said I was a legacy so it was automatic. Can't be I said, my dad didn't go here and he was in another fraternity. That doesn't matter they said, we voted to bid you last year! No way guys! Besides I already belong to my fraternity. Oh yeah, then how come you are a new freshman?
Where the hell am I? Hay if you don't know that maybe we made a mistake, should we take a new ballot? Then I woke up sweating and wondering what was that all about.
I'm sure a good shrink could tell me something about this but it beats hell out of me.

I just realized I had a HILARIOUS dream last night! I was singing the Meow Mix jingle with a big group of people, then we started singing in 4-part harmony and very very loudly! Oh, and we were really good! Haha, I guess years of being a choir kid is still in me.

I had the WEIRDEST dream ever last night! My family went to this guy's house to adopt a German Shepherd or St. Bernard puppy. I think we were taking the dog home for a test-drive. I was in the back seat, and the dog was all the way in the back. We were going to call him Rex. He started talking, and we figured out it was a man in a dog suit!!!!! He also spoke different languages and then we KNEW it was a man, not just a smart dog. I woke up and was super freaked out!

Last night, I dreamed I was at my old skating rink giving lessons to Rosario Dawson. She needed to learn to figure skate for a movie and the production company hired me to teach her. It was weird, but she was a quick learner and very funny, so it was cool.

This isn't the first time I've had a celeb skating dream. A couple years ago, I dreamed that Callie from Grey's was my new skate coach. She'd been a hockey coach and was crazy harsh and screamed everything. She got me to do my best work though. I even used some of the tips she'd told me in the dream at my next practice and it actually helped! :shrug:
