Didn't anyone watch Survivor last night? I was expecting a lot of witty banter about how annoying and whiny some of the people were...

They all annoyed the ish out of me!

Whoever had the brilliant idea to dump the water cause it was too heavy, should be shot. :mad:

The fat old man who simply wrote C.B. will now be referred to as B.C. because of his nasty BUTT CRACK. :eek: It was sooo disgusting!

Too funny!! That B.C. (excellent nickname!) guy annoyed me to no end. I couldn't understand 80% of what he was saying, which is probably okay, because what I did understand was totally stupid -- "If I hayd a gun, I'da shoot yer."

I liked Lex (mmm, tattoos) and Clarence, despite the cherry controversy. She didn't make an impression on me during the show, but WTF is up with Kelly? Did you read her profile?? Anyone who lists "manipulating men" as a hobby needs to line up to get shot by B.C. Give me a break!! Girlfriend's got gold-digging trust fund brat written all over her.

That man - what's his name, Tom? The guy that wrote C.B.? Anyhow, he annoyed me to no end - that idiot who thinks he's so high and mighty even though his accent is mighty annoying! I mean it might be fine on other ppl, but on him - BARF TIME! Sorry.

I have to say, though, that Silas and Ethan are hot, hot, hot. I think S3 will be more boring than S2 though :(.

I enjoy watching survivor but usually don't start watching until about half of the people are gone. In the beginning rounds, it is too predictable as to who is going to get voted off.

I was all excited about Survivor 3 until I saw it. Yeah, they're usually boring in the beginning, but this one was worse than usual.

People complained that the last group of survivors was "too attractive" so CBS went to the complete opposite end of the spectrum and got some ugly ass people for this one. Granted, looks are not a reason to like or dislike someone else, but I think CBS tried too hard to not make the survivors "pretty"

They all seem to have a very Real World attitude to them, as well. Kinda got on my nerves.

Do you think the cop lady that puked her guts out the first show will make it? If she was that bad off the first day it doesn't look good for her.

I absolutely could not stand Tom (the old man)! The way he tore into CB after the food. O.k.- CB said he was sorry over five times and that ole redneck kept on digging into him deeper and deeper. Then his final comment- shake my hand now like a "MAN"- not your silly way was just the last straw for me! Anyway... I don't trust any man who is that fond of goats and sheep! :)

I only watched it last year because Amber was an Alpha Gam. This year, there is a girl from Ga, but I have nooo interest.

In the Atlanta paper, www.ajc.com, there is a terrific column called the Vent where people say what they think. In today's column, someone said, "Survivor is in Africa; I'm pulling for Africa!":) :cool:

I would have been pretty pissed if they had voted Clarence off first. So he may have taken more than his fair share of cherries, and he did open a can of beans on his own. But everyone was acting like he committed the worst crime against humanity. He did what he thought was best, giving food to Diane, who almost had a heart attack during the challenge. I think the way Diane lied about it to everyone was her last desperate attempt to save herself. She knew that everyone considered her a liability after that first challenge and that they were going to vote her off, so her lie against Clarence was the only thing she had left to do, and fortunately it didn't work.

Have you all checked Linda's profile on the Survivor web site? It's pretty amazing: she was born and raised on welfare, got her BA from Dartmouth, an MEd from Tufts University and an MSW from Boston College, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in December 1999 and climbed Mt. Rainier 8 months later, is a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, Sierra Club, American Alpine Club, Career Counselors Consortium, etc. I was reading her profile and thinking, "Hmmm...OK, what have I done with my life?"

Fresh warm cow blood yuck. I would not have drank that.

Oooh, that Tom is going to drive me crazy. Do you think he'll just keep voting for Clarence because "C. B." is the only thing he can spell?!

I am too addicted to this show, even though the cow blood thing bothered me. They're going to have to do something to try to make the tribes more even, or it's just going to get boring, not that it being boring would stop me from watching. :p

Excuse me, but I am really offended at some of the comments about Tom's accent. Just because he had a thick Southern accent does NOT make him stupid. He comes from an area where a lot of people speak with the exact same way and the implication that because of his accent he's a moron really pisses me off. So could we please stop? Thanks YALL!

Ooooh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be snotty. I just can't understand what he's saying, which may result more from the way he talks than the accent itself. I also really dislike him for other reasons that I won't go into, but I'm sorry I offended you.

Anyone else notice Kelly wearing her KKG badge on her Reebok tank tonight?

Okay... I was glad that Ethan won, although I liked Kim J. too. Kelly was a bitch. When she got up to ask her question, but first went into her little speech, I was like, "Oh great, here's another Sue (from the 1st Survivor). :rolleyes: Granted, she wasn't nearly as bad as Sue, but still... And now you say she was wearing a KKG badge? I didn't notice that... but if I were a KKG I'd be HIGHLY embarrassed by her behavior!

Was anyone surprised that Ethan won? THe only thing about that whole show that did surprise me was that no one told dude to go get a deep conditioner after the show was over cause he still looks scragglyyyyy!

And Kelly was much less amusing than Sue. When she went into her old rat v. snake speech it had me rollin! ROFL!

Anyone else not give a rat's ass about Survivor?

Okay, I have to show some love for Ethan. I really liked him through the whole ga55555555555555555555555 (sorry, my cat is on the keyboard and seems to have something to say), er, game, and I'm so glad he won. I liked Kim a lot, too, and she is very well spoken and clearly is a good person, but I don't think she played the game very well. She should've aligned with the other women when she had the chance, because the guys would've cut her loose in a second had she not won immunity twice. I did not like Tom or Lex, so I'm glad they got booted. Tom did end up growing on me a little (I was rollin' on the floor when he did that little "Hey bartender make me a toddy" dance; I was howling and had to rewind and watch it about 4 times), but Lex's psycho, arrogant, controlling freak ass self just annoyed me (and he was my favorite at first, too).

Ehh, Kelly was okay. I liked what she said about how women are portrayed in the media, but she seemed to be acting too much the bitchy sterotype. And Clarence is too much -- I wish he had lasted longer because he is funny!

The thing that drove me nuts -- why were the final 4 contestants and the jury members wearing the same ratty clothes that they had on for the final episode? That was just dumb. I mean, let Ethan comb his hair, let Kim put on an actual shirt, let Lex, well, I don't know what hope there is for him, and let Tom put on a shirt under those overalls! Ugh. I always like seeing everyone all made up and cute on the reunion show. Oh well.

BTW, isn't Kim a Pi Phi? She certainly conducted herself very well, and I think she did y'all proud!

I'm so glad Ethan won. He seems like a sweetheart, and I wanted him to win ever since the beginning!

Kim was very classy and dignified about it, which I thought was awesome.

I was shocked at how Kelly totally ripped those two apart though. I am glad though that she chose the right number! ;)

Well, kelly in her interviews said Sue is her Survivor role model. Perhaps that's where that all came from. I was appalled by her behavior tho. And was she really wearing a Kappa badge, too? Wow :eek:

Yay Ethan! Glad he won - he seemed really cool.

As for Kelly, she had every right to be pissed. No one stood up for her, when they very well could have. Kim J kept talking about how she played such a clean game, but not helping Kelly and basically selling her out to Lex (who annoyed the living crap outa me) kinda tarnished her rep. If anyone was really bitchy, it was Brandon. :rolleyes:

Does anyone else think Lex would have been better on The Real World? I wonder if the person who cast him got a bonus for picking someone who's so assy and such a shitstirrer? :o

Yep! Glad one of the Monmouth girls showed some class. Maybe Kelly did get screwed, but people judge you by how you handle yourself, and she showed no class whatsoever. I'd be embarassed if she was wearing my badge while acting that way. (Personally, I thought she was trying just a little too hard to be Jeri and get the Playboy spread.)
