Why Rejected?
 

I was wondering ladies, why would someone be rejected if she's has outstanding grades (3.9), involved on campus and all references (including that of an AKA), plus very attractive. And they seem to extend invitations to those who just barely meet the requirements and not even at the least bit cute! And on top of that without an explanation as to why it was.. Just curious as to why so I would know what to do or not to next time, seeing that they didn't..

Wow. And this goes for all prospective members of any organization, meeting the requirements is sometimes not enough. You are not trying to join an honors program. Chapter members work closely with one another so they have to like you to invite you to be their sister. Perhaps your shallow attitude put them off?

As for why you didn't get picked, you may never know that and no one here can know that. If you are still determined to be a member, check your attitude, befriend members, and try again.

I will attempt a rational explanation for your question, Ms. Smith. There could be a host of reasons why one is rejected from my sorority, but for future reference, just know that GreekChat is NOT the place to go for answers to questions like yours. It will not help your chances in the slightest (and may actually hinder them). I employ you to read the Pearls of Wisdom thread, as we do not discuss membership information on GreekChat.
