Funny Fraternity Songs
 

I know our chapter has some funny songs that we sing at initiation and at some events. we have one thats called Ya Hoe that all the sororities like......whats some of ur songs that you sing that chicks think is funny????

My brilliant (albeit somewhat deranged) roommate made up a great song once. Each verse was about a different fraternity or sorority. It's pretty raunchy and it still makes laugh every time I think of it. Of course, I wouldn't dare divulge said lyrics because that would be very un-PC. But, oh well! :cool: :cool: :cool:

There's one that Lambda Chi does on all their busrides that makes fun of a few of the other fraternities. Can't post the lyrics on here...they're rated R. Sorry kids.

here's one Phi Tau does on our campus (note: their stereotype is being all assholes)

It is really funny when I hear this, cause I remember my buddies in Phi Tau (I have quite a few, most are older and gone) saying "It's all in good fun, I'm sure you guys have songs about us," to which I always get to reply "Nah, When we all get together and go out, we don't usually concern ourselves with you guys" which always make us look like the bigger men.

Before anyone asks, "prexy" is short for president...

Of course the song was all talk. We had a pretty good GPA, and never broke the rules.

Well, almost never.

My favorite (I loved it when the guys would seranade us) was Barnacle Bill. I can't remember all the words but it starts out in whispery voices-

Whose that knocking at my door, who's that knocking at my door, whose that knocking at my door? said the fair young maiden

Then with BOOMING voices-

It's only me, I'm home from the sea said Barnacle Bill the sailor...

Does ANYONE remember this?

My favorite is Sigma Nu's "What do you do with a Drunken Brother," but I don't know all the words.

The ATOs at my school do the asshole song as well.... they have a verse for all the other fraternites, but I only remember two...

I'm's an asshole through and through
But's I'd rather be an asshole than a Signma Alpha Mu
I'm an asshole till I die
But's I'd rather be an asshole than a f***ing Delta Chi

So on and so forth... They also sing a quite raunchy one on the quad that I shouldn't post here ;)

As for teh other fraternities... generally when they sing the songs, they're too wasted to enunciate so you hear "Blah blah blah muh kkkfat PHI SIGMA KAPPA guh blah hah!"

The Lambda Chi's here do:

Beer, beer for old lambda chi
You bring the whiskey, I'll bring the rye
Send the old alums for gin
And don't let a sober (insert sorority name here) in

They also come "ELFING" during finals week, and they all have silly hats on and they do a version of "Twas the night before Christmas" I obviously don't know the whole thing, but a few lines are similar to the following:

The Betas were sleeping all alone in their beds
While visions of themselves danced in their heads.
The beer bongs were placed in the kitchen with care.
And the Pikes were all busy putting gel in their hair.

The Theta Xi's sing the following, kind of a simple one:

Drink 'em down, theta xi, drink 'em down.
Drink 'em down, theta xi, drink 'em down.
Here's a toast to all the brothers
and to hell with all the others
Drink 'em down, theta xi, drink 'em down.

My boyfriend is a Sigma Nu, and he and 2 other brothers in his chapter made up a song called " F**kin fat ass trampy b***h"...it was so bad!! Then everyone would always sing it at parties...ya, it was really bad.

That is hillarious. I never have heard that song. How cool. We will definitely have to sing that song together sometime.

Another song that comes to mind. One of ours that is sort of humorous.

We have one we sing (actually chant,) after our chapter "were all good brothers, usually after intramurals or whenwere trying to do some boasting. Its called "Rat $hit"

"Rat $hit, bat $hit, suck your mothers tit.
***** burping ba$tard, eat a bag of $hit.
We're the best fraternity, all the others suck,
Lambda Chi Alpha, rah rah f**K."

Immature yes.

We also sing "Ya Ho"
I can give you the first verse, and the rest you'll have to guess. We just go up her anatomy. You figure it out.

and our other one, but I can only remember the last half.

Sig Eps and TKE's are hardly Greek, ATO's are hardly human,

The Phi Sig Phis on my campus all get on knee circled around someone standing up who leads them in a chant along the lines of There Once Was a Man from Nantucket. For the life of me I can't remember the words but it's a huge crowd pleaser.

The K-sigs pledges would sing "I'm a little Kappa Sig. Kappa Sig" to the tune of I'm a little tea pot. Then we would sing the pajama song:

I wear my silk pajamas in the summer when its hot
and I wear the flannel nighty in the winter when its not
But sometimes in the springtime and sometimes in the fall I slip
between the sheets with nothing on at all...

In the spring time and the fall...with nothing on at all

Then they would sing something funny about us being classy and another sorority being whores. Both our song and theirs are perfect for introduction visits because we don't like it when the songs are too dirty or insulting to our new members or theirs.

Then we would thank them by singing "something in my pocket":

its a custom made condom for every kappa-sig
Its not very big, but they can fill it up
those god-dam Kappa sigmas can never get it up!

The hand signals are cute too. When we sing "it's not very big" the second time we make a one inch sign and make it bigger as we sing "they can fill it up". Then when we sing the last line we stick our pinkies up and wiggle them like worms. To make the song a little longer we sing it in a round like row, row, row your boat.

We also sometimes sing a song called the freshman song...each class has its own verse and they more get more and more raunchy. If we have enough people each class sings their own verse, otherwise we all sing and the class waves theirs hands in the air:
