Trauma

anyone watching?

Psi U MC Vito 09-28-2009 09:11 PM

That the paramedic show? If so I am.

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 09:16 PM

Yup...I like it so far.....

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 09:18 PM

wow!!

1. the explosion just shook my house (maybe I better turn it down) and 2. an accident that just keeps getting worse...right!

Psi U MC Vito 09-28-2009 09:20 PM

Same. Though I'm wondering how that guy survived the helo crash. And I hope that the show isn't as special effects heavy as this episode is so far. Two massive explosions in 20 minutes? If that is the norm, that is a sign of bad writing.

ETA: I guess we crossed posted. Yeah I know what you mean. Something like that actually happening is very rare chances. For one thing getting gass to blow is really difficult.

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 09:26 PM

Rabbit was prolly one of those lucky guys whose going thru inner demons or sumn...

Psi U MC Vito 09-28-2009 09:27 PM

It seems to be getting kinda cliched as it goes on.

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 09:32 PM

a lil...

this is the 21st century's answer to Emergency from back in the 70s

Psi U MC Vito 09-28-2009 09:33 PM

wtf? He didn't even have a spare pair of gloves to give mom to wear while she was sticking her finger in her son's neck?

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 09:34 PM

hey hey hey he didnt have that kinda time...

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 09:38 PM

wait the paras hitting on a patient?

Wow....

BTW..what is it with every show playing 3 or 4 pop songs per episode now?

Psi U MC Vito 09-28-2009 09:38 PM

lol. The latina looks familiar but I can't place it. And I think this is going to turn into the kind of show that I will watch if on, otherwise screw it.

ETA: Yeah I saw that, but I figured it was something like that from the reaction his wife had. And don't forget the two medics screwing each other in the back of the bus. This show is horribly unrealistic.

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 09:41 PM

Oh I dunno....I have 2 paras as friends...I will be calling in the morning...LOL

I'm not watching the show but did you see the news article today about the van that was transporting a beehive and it got in a bad accident and then the bees swarmed and attacked the injured and rescue personnel?

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/...nOW1AD9B0KTRG1

That would be an accident that just keeps getting worse.

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 09:46 PM

wow....what a way to lose a finger

Psi U MC Vito 09-28-2009 09:49 PM

I'm really disliking Rabbit. And is it just me, or shouldn't there be at least a bit more blood?

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 09:54 PM

with the finger?

Didnt hit an artery.

I actually like Rabbit....he's the tragic anti hero that you hate to love...HHAHAHA

Psi U MC Vito 09-28-2009 09:57 PM

I just realized where I saw the girl. George Lopez show. And is teh doctoir the guy from Law and Order Criminal Intent?

DaemonSeid 09-28-2009 10:00 PM

I think so...ok...this epi gets a 7.5

The guy who plays Rabbit is Maori...and has played everything from latino to Arab

PeppyGPhiB 10-01-2009 01:02 AM

I didn't watch the show, but if I had thought about it, any temptation I had would've been killed by the annoying, long, melodramatic radio ads that have been playing on one of the stations here in Seattle. It reminded me of how stupid and waaaaaaay overdramatic the episodes of ER got when it was about 75% of the way through its run. That was ER's lowest point, and I really don't want to watch a whole series that's like that.

perfectinpurple 10-01-2009 01:58 PM

This show was ruined for me by my boyfriend (a paramedic) who made me watch just so he could point out all the things they did wrong.

Like the one handed CPR? That, in the very beginning, was what killed it for me. My husband, who is not even in the medical field was like, "I don't hear any rib bones cracking!"

Psi U MC Vito 10-05-2009 09:05 PM

Anybody watching today's?

DaemonSeid 10-05-2009 09:20 PM

yup

DaemonSeid 10-05-2009 09:24 PM

waiting for the cops is accurate.

Psi U MC Vito 10-05-2009 09:28 PM

yeah it is, especially for something like that. They don't have to, but it's common sense. I have a friend who is a tech and they have actually refused to respond to calls if they didn't get police support. And I know the resident. She's from NCIS. Played a doctor there as well.

DaemonSeid 10-05-2009 09:32 PM

ok....you dont put an inexperienced pilot on like that tho.....

Psi U MC Vito 10-05-2009 09:34 PM

I was wondering how long it would be before a MCI. I guess they need to have teh whole cast interact somehow.

DaemonSeid 10-05-2009 09:44 PM

He wouldn't have been allowed to leave with bodily fluids on the uni....hehehe

Psi U MC Vito 10-05-2009 09:46 PM

Also, am I the only who finds the idea of a person with a MD being a paramedic?

DaemonSeid 10-05-2009 09:51 PM

seen it happen....BUT.....why are we having a repeat of the angry person mad at the offender.

DaemonSeid 10-15-2009 12:29 AM

irony....

(finally watched Monday's epi BTW)

Dude's wife is trapped in a building by a mad gunman and she was thinking about possibly filing divorce papers....HEH!

Hahaha!!! This is why I'm afraid to watch it. I'd be like, "Seriously? Seriously?? Who doesn't use BSI on a trauma call? And how many triple A's can one guy get? Right....way to attach an AED bro!" LOL

I actually have EMT on Mondays and Wednesdays; so, I've not been able to catch the show at all. Maybe I can get an episode online?

.....Kelly :)

Psi U MC Vito 10-19-2009 09:04 PM

Ugh that was pretty gruesome.

Senusret I 10-19-2009 09:19 PM

2 Asian ladies towards the end of the show...

Psi U MC Vito 10-26-2009 09:51 PM
