Anyone have any clue when the new Quarterly is coming out? I havent gotten any since Ive been in and since Ive changed my address on the site I want to see if they will send me one. :D

I haven't gotten mine yet so I don't think they are out yet.

Speaking of things that are running late...wasn't the members only section of the new website supposed to be up by now? :confused:

Its my understanding that IHQ is undermanned at the moment; I guess we just need to be patient.

IHQ is always slow. With my alumna thing, it took them 3 mths to get everything done. Maybe they need to hire more people! :P

Ditto on the AlphaGam time.

The Hawaii gals always receive their Quarterly wayyyy after you mainland people get yours!

Maybe it has to do with what's going on with the country. I know it took a while for me to receive my magazine subscriptions. Who knows?

So when the "Summer" issue comes out, please let me know so I can expect the issue in my mailbox 2 weeks later.

Great article on Theta Sigma (Valdosta State - Ga) for receiving 3 President's Cup Trophies (Campus Involvement, School & Athletic Spirit) and Organizational Character...or was that characters? lol)

It put us in second place for president's cup! Our chapter president, Bonnie, worked her squirrel tail off to make the scrap book- which we turned in for presidents cup pts!

Sandy - I'll betcha that you'll get your copy over there WAY before I get mine ... seeing as how Canada is a foreign country & all (ha ha!) You'd think we were on the other side of the galaxy judging by the incredibly LONG! time it takes things to make its way up here to the great NORTH ... ok, I'm done ranting now :)

Hey, does anyone know if there's any info about this year's LCs in this issue ... it turns out that I know one of them from a visit to Kappa Gamma - TAMU Corpus Christi last February!! Just curious.

I just rushed fall 00 and we had a pledge class of 23 and nobody in my pledge class has gotten a quarterly yet. The older members bring a few so we can look at it. There was some cool stuff in it and congrats to the President's cup winners!

Yep, pages 48-49. I think the one you met was Mariah Yardley from TAMU. Cute!

I met Melissa Brown last week when she was at Gamma Tau. She's from a few miles up the road (Theta Delta, NGa.) and her hometown is about 1.5 hours from me. Cute 2!

They have a very hard job, but I bet they are all terrific! :D

At least the LC's get flown everywhere.

I have a good friend who is a Phi Delta Theta LC and he has to drive out to the chapters!

What's funny is that we have a sister in our chapter named Melissa Brown also. So every time I hear about Melissa Brown from IHQ, I think people are talking about our Melissa!

Have her apply to be a LC and really confuse them, lol!!;)

OK, I still havent gotten mine yet and no one from IHQ has emailed me back yet regarding my address change and member number. Sigh.....ill keep waiting. :(

Maybe if IHQ had read their own issue, I would have gotten my Quarterly...jk. Thanks Lynn, but I can always try to borrow someone's copy. You don't need to go to all the trouble.

Speaking of scanning the Quarterly, maybe IHQ should think about putting it up on the website so that everyone can access it at the same time and so that people who moved can still get their Quarterly even if their address change hasn't gone through yet.

I remember on the old IHQ website, pages from the Quarterly were up for viewing. It was great for people like me because at that time I was still a recent initiate and I was a long ways to getting my first issue!

Perhaps IHQ can work at getting it back up again!

Sandy, it's been ages, but I didn't remember waiting until I had graduated to get the Quarterly...:confused:

While you are in college your Quarterly goes to your home address or the address you have listed at IHQ during your collegiate days.

As for not receiving a Quarterly, just call and they can send you another one! :)

I remember on lthe old IHQ website the used to have the quarterly online. Couldnt we do that here and just post it to an Adobe thing with the link here??

I hope they add the quarterly online again!!!

I just spoke to Katie Jolley, the Quarterly Editor, and she said they're working on putting it up on the website as a .pdf file. She said since there is no TLC or Convention this summer this frees her and her team up to make many improvements to the website, including putting the Q online!

Also, she said that the Spring Quarterly is at the printers! Each edition comes out at the end of the season that it's for....
