I'm officially a lawyer

Got sworn in today. Headin' off to County to get my proximity card, my own recognizance card, business cards, etc.

-- I just realized my whole day revolves around cards.

Thursday, I'll be going to a technology conference.

Then I have another thing for new lawyers coming up.

Then in the 2nd week of October, I'm going to a CLE on adoption law.

The licensed kind?

My Oklahoma license is a general one. I can do anything I want to do with it. Need to send in my fee for Federal Bar Admission, but that's no biggie.

I'll probably do family law, estate planning, a small bit of criminal, civil suits and small business planning. I'm not at the stage in my career where I can really afford to pigeon-hole myself.
