ADPi
Ok, I swear I won't be offended.......What about ADPI'S?
ADPi's are cool girls. The Sigma Chi international sweetheart is an ADPi from my school...Wendy Papson. Awesome girl and good friend of mine. She goes to UF now for grad school which sucks but she hangs out with the UF Sigs now though. Where are you an ADPi at and how many alpha's did you girls have this fall?
ADPI at Boston U, we got 19 alphas!
The ADPi's are great at UCF!
ADPi's at my school are great girls! They are very friendly and down to earth. ADPi is well respected and also one of the most cohesive groups on campus! Also, it is rumored that they treat their new members better than any other sorority at my school.
I'm an ADPi at Arkansas. My frat friends said that our chapter has a rep for being nice girls (this was before I rushed). The OSU chapter isn't very strong... from what I know, they have a pretty bad rep.
My mother-in-law is an ADPi alum, but apparantely had a bad experience. My wife went through rush and got bids from all three houses she visited (Pi Phis, Chi-O's and ADPi's obviously as a legacy), but her mom told her she would never see another cent to help with college if she pledged any GLO. We never had an explaination.
Obviously, my wife didn't pledge anyone. Pretty harsh. By the way, the ADPi's I met while in school were pretty good people. Never heard anything bad about them. Go figure... DeltAlum |
Arkansas, medium. Auburn, extremely good. Mississippi State--they tried hard but didn't make it and I wish they'd return!

Hi there!!!
ADPi at the U of AZ not a strong chapter. However, the small number of girls they do have seem very sweet and pretty. |
ADPi at ECU is known as being the best looking, but kind of trashy girls. They are very snobby and believe that they are still on the top of the bid list even though they've had numerous scandals attached to them this year.
My great grandmother was an ADPi - and she was a sweet old lady. She died over a decade ago, so I was pretty young then, but I loved her soooo much. We don't have ADPi at my school, but everytime I meet one they are really nice.
I don't know any ADPi's, but I LOVE YOUR BADGE!
hey lovelylocks -
i'm a kappa sig @bu - some of my boys and i serenaded some of your pledges tonite . . . who are you? Rob |
ADPi at Illinois State is a small chapter that has a rep for not being around/involved a whole lot. Not a bad rep, just sort of, well, no rep....
Oh, and I happen to know that Univ. Northern Colorado chapter lost their charter in the last few years because practically NO ONE would accept their bids.
By the way, I should mention that I'm an ADPi http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

The ADPi's here present themselves pretty bad sometimes. When I went through rush that is what I thought I wanted to be but then I saw that they were very stereotypical and I didn't want that. Blonde, beautiful and skinny. I was afraid my mascara might run. At pageants they act like they are in Miss America, when they are supposed to be fun and not serious. They take themselves way too seriously. I like a few of their new members, but they are the ones that aren't happy with their chapter and want to change it. I know some from another school and I love them. They are sweet and fun. They don't think they are better than anyone else and encourage other groups and support other greek organizations instead of putting them down. I wish I could say the same for here.

Wondering about ADPi's at UNC, NCSU, ECU, and in the Carolinas...I'm an ADPi at UNC! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

ADPis at ECU are a strong chapter. They seem to always get the members they want and that pleases them. Every chapter had a hard time during last year's recruitment except Chi O, so ADPi is not recruitmetnt proof, but they are still good. I don't think they do much outside of their chapter, they focus more internally. The chapter gets a bad rap from a few too many scandal rumors, but contrary to what sunnyecu said, they are strong and even respected because they are consistent and have held up through the years, since 1960.

There WAS an ADP chapter at school when I was there and they called them ADPigs. They were one of two big National Soroitys on campus. They are gone but I know that two of My Broters married an ADP. I had a lot of respect for them but they were not the ones who had the prettiest, the oldest in alum ties as did some of the other Soros.
I Never understood why they did not make it but as we all know, the Greek World is a close click, in or out! We are all Greeks and should stand together as it seems as if more and more are against us. If not for us, look at what schools would be!!!!!! ------------------ Tom Earp LX Z#1 Pittsburg State U. Any ADPi alums out there? I'm interested in how active you/the alum group in your area is..we don't have any active chapters in the state I live in, but the alum chapter is rather large, and always looking for new ideas to bring Pi's back together!
