University of Alabama Greek Life

First and foremost, Roll Tide. I have a question about Greek Life at the University of Alabama.

I want to join one but I am not sure it is what I am looking for.

I'm interested in wild parties with tons of alcohol, hooking up, lots of debauchery, one night stands etc.

Sorry to be blunt, but this is the best way to figure out if UA Greek Life is for me b/c this is what I would expect out of it.

I've been to some of the parties and have friends in them.

They just don't seem like the way I envisioned them but I want to make 100% sure...

The guys in the fraternities tell me all these crazy stories of hooking up in the lakeside elevators etc etc which sounds fun and something I'd be interested in

at the same time I hear from friends in them it's not really like that and those are just "stories" and nothing more.
