Speaking of Michigan... after a disastrous first half, App State almost turned it around against East Carolina. Final was 29-24.

My alma mater pitched a shutout in its season opener!!!

Mark my words, Penn State will take the Big Eleven again this year. I was at the game today (to see my Zips get demolished :mad:), and they are an all-around strong, talented team.

Only if I have a death wish :) last time I went to a game at the UT stadium a drunk longhorn grown man was cursing at me and threatening to hit me. Classy! His friend was so embarrased and escorted him out. And for the record I was very polite, he was just a poor loser.

Okay I keep trying to explain to the BF (he goes to OSU and has season tickets) that he shouldn't bother going to the USC game because they're going to lose and he should instead go to the stadium opener for Akron because it's going to be sweet :D He insists that Ohio State is going to win. I really wish Navy had won so I could have made fun of him :(

On the bright side of things, my football season has officially become stress free. National title chances are pretty much blown at this point. Extremely disappointing, but there's always next year.

Hear ya :(, and I sat through last year's game in California. Unfortunately, I'm helping out at a Pref party at a local college and didn't realize it was an evening game. I'm busy finding someone who can update me throughout the game via text.

Good game last night, but I think Clemson got screwed with that holding call in the end of the 4th - they would have been in field goal range and would have beaten Georgia Tech.
