We BOMBED Afghanistan
On the news right now they are reporting on the bombing today that the USA did to Afghanistan.
Our world/life as we know it, is getting ready to change. |
No, CrimsonTide4, our world is not GETTING READY to change. It has ALREADY changed. All I can say is God have mercy on us. HE (the one and only TRUE and LIVING God) is the ONLY one in control of this whole thing.
|
Well, I have many, many mixed emotions about this. But, I can say one thing, I did not expect to wake up on a Sunday morning and see this on the news.

Right now, I'm not really sure what to think. So far, I haven't really heard many reports of any deaths or injuries. I stopped watching hours ago because I felt there was much propaganda being given out... I'm not really sure how dropping bombs is a humanitarian effort:confused: . But if anyone has any more info, please enlight.. |

Anyway, when I said our world and life as we know it is getting ready to change I meant in so far as FURTHER change. I also meant that FOR ME this takes on another level of meaning and change as I have to look at my students tomorrow and prepare to answer questions and to remind them yet again that ALL people no matter where they are from are being effected by the events of September 11.
I have ALWAYS recognized ONE LIVING GOD and HIS SON. It is NOW that some of our fellow countrymen are starting to sing HIS praises. There is no doubt that God is in control. Many of us have heard that question "Where was your GOD when the World Trade Center and the Pentagon was attacked?" Well I know where my GOD was the morning of September 11, 2001, and He was very busy! He was trying to discourage anyone from taking these flights Those four flights together held over 1000 passengers and there were only 266 aboard. He was on 4 commercial flights giving terrified passengers the ability to stay calm Not one of the family members who were called by a loved one on one of the high-jacked planes said that passengers were screaming in the background On one of the flights he was giving strength to passengers to try to overtake the highjackers. He was busy trying to create obstacles for employees at the World Trade Center on their way to work After all, only around 20,000 were at the towers when the first jet hit Since the buildings held over 50,000 workers, this was a Miracle in itself How many of the people who were employed at the World Trade Center told the media that they were late for work or they had traffic delays. He was holding up 2-110 story buildings so that 2/3 of the workers could get out I was so amazed that the top of the towers didn't topple when the jets impacted And when they did fall, they fell inward GOD didn't allow them to topple over, as many more lives would have been lost. And when the buildings went down, my GOD picked up almost 6,000 of his children and carried them home with him Reassuring his frighten children that the worst was over and the best was yet to come He sat down and cried that 19 of his children could have so much hate in their hearts That they didn't choose him, but another god that doesn't exist, and now they are lost forever. He sent his children that are best trained for this disaster and had them save the few that were still alive, but unable to help themselves And then sent many others to help in anyway they were needed. He still isn't finished though, he held the loved ones that were left behind in his arms He comforts them daily His other children are given the strength to reach out to them and help them in any way they can. And I believe he will continue to help us in what is to come He will give the people in charge of this great nation the strength and the wisdom to do the right thing He would never leave us in our time of need. So when anyone asks, "Where was your GOD on September 11", you can say "everywhere"! And yes, although this is without a doubt the worst thing I have seen in my life, I see God's miracles in every bit of it I keep praying for those who don't believe in GOD, every chance I have I can't imagine going through such a difficult time and not believing in GOD. Life would be hopeless. |

And he never was. God is always present. He has all power in his hand. Everything that happens, happens for a reason. Whether we understand that reason is a different question. To all - continue to be encouraged and keep your faith. In this day and time - faith is all we have and all we need. God Bless |

Here's another poem sent to me by a Soror. . .
Hope you enjoy it.
TWO THOUSAND ONE, NINE ELEVEN (2001-911) Two thousand one, nine eleven Three thousand plus arrive in heaven As they pass through the gate, Thousands more appear in wait A bearded man with stovepipe hat Steps forward saying, "Lets sit, lets chat" They settle down in seats of clouds A man named Martin shouts out proud "I have a dream!" and once he did The Newcomer said, "Your dream still lives." Groups of soldiers in blue and gray Others in khaki, and green then say "We're from Bull Run, Yorktown, the Maine" The Newcomer said, "You died not in vain." From a man on sticks one could hear "The only thing we have to fear. The Newcomer said, "We know the rest, trust us sir, we've passed that test." "Courage doesn't hide in caves You can't bury freedom, in a grave," The Newcomers had heard this voice before A distinct Yankees twang from Hyannisport shores A silence fell within the mist Somehow the Newcomer knew that this Meant time had come for her to say What was in the hearts of the five thousand plus that day "Back on Earth, we wrote reports, Watched our children play in sports Worked our gardens, sang our songs Went to church and clipped coupons We smiled, we laughed, we cried, we fought Unlike you, great we're not" The tall man in the stovepipe hat Stood and said, "Don't talk like that! Look at your country, look and see You died for freedom, just like me" Then, before them all appeared a scene Of rubbled streets and twisted beams Death, destruction, smoke and dust And people working just 'cause they must Hauling ash, lifting stones, Knee deep in hell, but not alone "Look! Blackman, Whiteman, Brownman, Yellowman Side by side helping their fellow man!" So said Martin, as he watched the scene "Even from nightmares, can be born a dream." Down below three firemen raised The colors high into ashen haze The soldiers above had seen it before On Iwo Jima back in '44 The man on sticks studied everything closely Then shared his perceptions on what he saw mostly "I see pain, I see tears, I see sorrow -- but I don't see fear." "You left behind husbands and wives Daughters and sons and so many lives are suffering now because of this wrong But look very closely. You're not really gone. A ll of those people, even those who've never met you All of their lives, they'll never forget you Don't you see what has happened? Don't you see what you've done? You've brought them together, together as one. With that the man in the stovepipe hat said "Take my hand," and from there he led three thousand plus heroes, Newcomers to heaven On this day, two thousand one, nine eleven Author UNKNOWN |
This is from an Alpha from KAZO..I thought that it would be good here.
DEEP. That's all I can say about this day two years ago....DEEP! Two years ago, a lot of people found out for the first time exactly how HATED this country really is. Two years ago...we all stopped at some point...even if only temporarily..and thought about any of our relatives who might have been in those buildings or in the area. Two years ago...I was reminded of how important my brother was to me, when all of a sudden my father and I realized that he was on an 8am flight to Pennyslyvania. Two years ago...America found out what it feels like to have our freedom invaded and be BULLIED...similar to the way we've been bullying these smaller countries. Two years ago... a mother woke up in the morning....got dressed.... kissed her husband and kids goodbye....and had no idea that was the last time she was ever going to see them. Two years ago... people had to choose between burning to death or jumping out of a high rise window. WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DECIDED? Two years ago.... for the first time in MY life...I actually saw America TRULY joined together for something powerful. Color didn"t matter! Political affiliation didn't matter. Social class didn't matter. Money didn't matter. Gang affiliation didn't matter. Your employment history didn't matter. An argument you may have had with a loved one didn't matter. All that mattered was freedom. And everybody embraced each other. Two years ago was DEEP! I look around today...I think we've lost most of that passion. |
Rolling 9.11 Memorial
This Common Carrier brought us a frozen load of Gilroy Foods today.
This truck was awesome. . . They thought this would be a nice tribute to the people that lost their lives. It has every name of each person that lost their life on 9-11. This concept was thought up by John and Amy Holmgren. They live in Shafer Minn, and totally paid for by them. John says he will be awhile paying the loan off that he had to take out to do it, but thought this was the least he could do. Applied Graphics in Fargo ND did most of the work and Paul Kosenski did the Hand painting. He said that he has gotten pulled over 3 times by the police just to get their picture taken by this truck. (I would have pulled him over too!!) It is called the Rolling 9-11 Memorial, it has all the names of the people that were killed on that day and the flights they were on plus some other graphics on the side of the Tractor. http://pic11.picturetrail.com/VOL368...3/51604109.jpg http://pic11.picturetrail.com/VOL368...3/51604103.jpg http://pic11.picturetrail.com/VOL368...3/51604101.jpg http://pic11.picturetrail.com/VOL368...3/51604096.jpg http://pic11.picturetrail.com/VOL368...3/51604092.jpg http://pic11.picturetrail.com/VOL368...3/51604080.jpg http://pic11.picturetrail.com/VOL368...3/51604041.jpg |
A SOLDIER'S POEM
Your hero is talking I didn't die for my country, I died for his greed. Blaming some "enemy," making us follow his lead. I knew it was my duty, to fight in our wars, But I trusted in him to take the right course. I guess I was wrong to think he valued our creed, To deter war if at all possible, fight only in need. A great lesson is learned by watching our man, He acts on his own and endangers our land. Stand by the soldiers that signed up to serve, Vote for justice and our lives to preserve. I am not a pawn to be lost while the "king" simply kneels, His party striving for power, while our country reels. Pray to Allah this murderous plot comes to an end, For God's name is marred with every troop that he sends. I would have gladly paid taxes and bought gas at two-seventy-five, To have a better economy and still be alive. Don't blame the "enemy" for my shortened life, Reserve that blame for the one that concocted this strife. Osama Bin Laden was the one we fingered for blame, Saddam Hussein was not even in the game. I see the connection between your father and you, If I were alive, I could tell you the truth. Keep fighting YOUR wars with American lives, But shiny new boxes can't comfort our wives. To elect someone else is my only hope, You should be glad that dead men can't vote. "Dead American soldier" (I got this from the Russ Parr message board. ) |
