I love hearing how our chapters do!

I think that's one thing I'm jonesing about not being a consultant anymore. I feel so weird not being involved in Tri Sigma in some way. :/

Well, that's when you come to GC everyday, lol.

I was pretty uninvolved between college and grad school (before I took my position), so I know how it feels.

ilovetheviolets 08-22-2009 07:47 AM

Today is bid day for Eta Chi (Mizzou) our newest chapter! Someone post results when they find out how they did.

I know that we had a summer recruitment for one of our colonies, St. Johns, and it went well. They will also be recruiting in the fall. I hear that they are doing very well there! Can't wait to hear about our other new colonies.

I *heart* recruitment!

KSUViolet06 08-23-2009 08:42 PM

I'm fairly certain that our St. John's colony has 20 women!

Also our Eta Chi chapter at Mizzou made quota of 70 in their FIRST recruitment!

Yay.

ilovetheviolets 08-23-2009 11:27 PM

Alpha Chi (Murray State) got 23 beautiful new women!

sigmaceli 09-04-2009 12:34 PM

Official numbers for Eta Chi - quota plus 5

Penn College colony has 15 new members that have joined. Recruitment events will be held throughout the semester.

I just read this on facebook a little bit ago. Congrats!

ilovetheviolets 09-14-2009 08:37 PM

Saw on facebook that Epsilon Phi (UNC-Wilmington) got quota plus. Don't know what quota was...but congratulations ladies!!

ilovetheviolets 09-17-2009 08:20 PM

Saw on another page here that our chapter at Missouri Western State University made quota (21). Great job ladies! Today is bid day for Beta Upsilon (Penn State). I should get an update soon.

ETA: University of Pittsburgh: All chapters at least made quota (18)
Alpha Upsilon (JMU): 53 with quota around 50

sigmaceli 09-18-2009 02:01 PM

All groups at Pitt made quota? That is AMAZING - snap bidding went on for hours when I was there last year, and SDT only got 3 women. I'm excited for all groups there!

Jocelyn, any word on Alpha Beta? The suspense has been killing me for like a week...

ilovetheviolets 09-18-2009 02:15 PM

Beta Upsilon (Penn State) has 14 fantastic new members! I am not sure what quota was yet.

Hey Jocelyn...I second the request for news on alpha beta!

p.s. Quota was 18...they are continuing to do COB.

KSUViolet06 09-18-2009 06:33 PM

Alpha Beta has 16 NMs and I am VERY proud of them!

Also, Beta Theta (Pitt) met quota of 18 new members!

ihearttrisigma 09-18-2009 07:01 PM

Yay that's awesome!!!! What are they currently up to and what is the goal number for installation?

ilovetheviolets 09-26-2009 07:30 AM

I think they're a little over 20 now. Not sure what their goal # is, but I do know they are waiting until feb/march to be installed so that they can take first year students during spring recruitment.

Does anyone know how our UA-LR colony is doing? I think bid day for them is this weekend.

ilovetheviolets 09-27-2009 07:12 PM

Eta Phi

Eta Phi (Pratt) virtually doubled their chapter today by extending 19 bids. They are working very hard over there in NY!

More results from the other side of the state over at RIT (Epsilon Psi). Quota was 8 and they got 15...the most of any organization on campus! So proud of all the ladies in my home state.

sigmaceli 09-28-2009 05:01 PM

OH MY GOODNESS!!

I'm getting teary-eyed hearing about how Eta Phi and Epsilon Psi did. Both of these chapters have come such a long way. SO proud of our chapters this year!

psusue 09-28-2009 08:17 PM

Beta Upsilon just got 4 new members from COB! And I am one of them! =)

unicorn 09-28-2009 09:28 PM

Congratulations and welcome, psusue!

ilovetheviolets 10-01-2009 08:01 AM

Congratulations PSUSUE!! I hope you are enjoying the new suite and all the fantastic women of the beta upsilon chapter!

Wow!!! That is just outstanding!!! Thanks for sharing this!

Jill1228 10-12-2009 12:11 PM

Sorry to crash! I would have posted earlier, but at CSU East Bay, it was 2 am Sunday morning when we finished bid matching, and I carried my dead behind to bed!

Your Epsilon Alpha chapter (if that is the chapter at Cal State East Bay), did a bang up job. Quota was 28 and they matched 29 (including 1 legacy). It also put y'all at total!
Congrats!
/End crash

sigmaray 10-12-2009 01:23 PM

St. John's women did gain 9 new members which puts them at 25. They are hoping to gain at least 10 more members during Spring Recruitment (freshman are allowed to join then) in order to meet their installation recruitment goal of 35.

Eta Phi has 17 new members which puts them at a total of 38!! Soo proud of all the ladies

The advisory board for St. John's and Eta Phi are trying something new and have combined forces so they have 6 advisors with 2 more on the way!

sigmaceli 10-12-2009 04:54 PM

Our chapters are doing so well! FANTASTIC to hear about CSU East Bay. I know that there have been so many concerns with the shakeups happening in the administration on campus. I wonder how Alpha Phi did?

As for St. Johns and Eta Phi - always fantastic to hear how amazing they are doing. :) They have been working sooo hard!

You could have just asked me! :) I am the recruitment adviser for the APhi chapter there :p
We did well. We matched 25 and are stepping up COB so we can fill the very few spots we have open so we can be at total. Sigma stepped it up this year and I called the recruitment adviser, who is a friend of mine, to give her congrats

This is the first time in YEARS either GLO has been at total

This year was a record year for PNMs!
