If you had to choose to be in an NPC sorority based on colors alone, which would you choose?

I really do love all shades of purple, so Sigma Kappa's colors are icing on the cake for me. :) I like the analogous color scheme with maroon and varying shade of purple. Maybe I like it because I am a Sigma Kappa?

Being a huge Pittsburgh sports fanatic, I must admit that before recruitment I thought it'd be cool to be in Theta because they are black and gold. My high school was also black and gold, and technically, Maryland's colors are black and gold. It's in the fight song. They come from the coat of arms on the state flag.

I also really like Zeta's colors. My bathroom is actually bright turquoise with silver (and black) accents.

I am probably the only girl on earth that doesn't like blue.

Cerulean is my favorite color, but I don't like gold.
I do, however like blues and white, pinks and green.
So...ADPi, Phi Mu, Kappa, or DZ.

I actually had NO red in my closet when I joined ASA.

I know our colors are Brown and Mode and all, but I LOVE that Pink is part of our official branding. Brown and Pink... just sayin' :)

Sadly, that was part of my criteria when I was rushing. I love robin's egg blue, so both ADPi & Kappa were high on my list. I also love pink, but for a very silly reason dropped Delta Zeta. Had Delta Gamma or Phi Mu been on my campus, I would have had a really hard time, lol.

FYI, our blue is usually "cyan". It only really works online when it's big & bold, though.

Love all those colors. But i really do love my silver gold and blue :)

My favorite color is purple...and personally, I don't think it goes with Maroon (referring to Sigma Kappa's maroon and lavender).

I also like blue and turquoise, so based on colors alone...I'd be either Tri-Sigma, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Zeta Tau Alpha, or Alpha Xi Delta (mainly because their colors are the same as my sorority's colors).

That's such a tough one! I think based on colors alone, I'd go with:


Alpha Delta Pi - azure blue, white

Phi Mu - rose pink, white

Sigma Sigma Sigma - royal purple, white

I'm with DreamfulSpirit - I love purple, but I don't like the way it looks with Marroon, so that would rule out Sigma Kappa for me

Definitely Delta Gamma. I so dig the bronze/pink thing.

It would be a choice between Delta Gamma and Kappa Alpha Theta. I like blue, but I am starting to like pink now, so that is why I would choose Delta Gamma. Since I show my dark side a lot by wearing black often, I would choose Kappa Alpha Theta.

Based on colors SOLELY, I would

A) Still be a Phi Mu (the fact that our colors were my favorite just added to my admiration at that time for my future chapter!)
B) Delta Zeta
C) AKA (not on the list but b/c they are a direct color match)
My bedroom is Pink & Green!

I LOOOVE that deep shade of red that Pi Beta Phi and Alpha Phi use so I'd have to choose them!

As a lifelong LSU fan (GEAUX Tigers Baseball!), I'd join
Delta Phi Epsilon - royal purple, gold in a second!!!

This is easy...definetely Zeta because turquoise is my fave color and I just love the way it looks with steel grey!

2nd- Delta Gamma

3rd- Tie between Tri Sigma and Delta Zeta


Red is actually one of my least favorite colors lol but I still love my AOII!

I love my Deephers, and I think based on colors.... I'd totally stay with Delta Phi Epsilon!!!!!

Based solely on color I would go with Kappa or ADPi - I like blue. Though I also like PiPhi as the colors really go together well.

My favorite color happens to be orange, but since that's not an option...

I tend to like unique color combinations. The ones that catch my eye are:
Alpha Gamma Delta - red, buff, green
Alpha Phi - silver, bordeaux
Alpha Xi Delta - light blue, dark blue, gold
Delta Delta Delta - silver, gold, cerulean blue
Delta Gamma - bronze, pink, blue
Pi Beta Phi - wine, silver blue

And while this combination isn't particularly "unique", it's very classy:
Kappa Kappa Gamma - light blue, dark blue

I'm a huge maroon fan, so I love Alpha Phi's colors because bordeaux is pretty close. I also am a big fan of DZ's colors and Gamma Phi's when you include the pink!

Green is my favorite color, so I'd pick KD or AEPhi, to go with the pure, clean combination of green and white.

Tri Delta, Delta Gamma and/or ZTA. TPA and KKG would follow.

To lane swerve here, based solely on colors-red is my favorite color, DST wouldve been it. And I love how primary colors look together, I couldve been a SIA.

well, I've always loved turquoise, so ZTA would still be at the top of my list. :-)

But I dig the color combos of DZ and KKG. I've always thought columbia blue and navy looked neat together.

while colors did not cross my mind when i rushed, i really like the turquiose blue and steel grey of my sorority.

i love pink and green, so delta zeta would be next, then the pink and white of phi mu, followed by the blue and white of alpha delta pi.

Phi Mu. I just adore pink.
I also like Pi Phi and Alpha Phi's colors a lot.

Delta Delta Delta or Kappa Kappa Gamma

I really enjoy Theta's colors- my high school colors' were black and gold, and I've always thought they were an amazing combination!

Like everyone else, I love turquoise, and it's just really classy with silver, so Zeta.

Alpha Phi also has very dignified colors. I think I also have a thing for silver...

I do have this to say about my own colors- while they are TOUGH to use in a web design (I just finished coding our website), you can find them on clearance after Christmas!

random weird fact: In elementary school, I was obsessed with Sailor Moon and my favorite character's favorite colors were pink and green. /lame

I'd have to go with either DZ or Phi Mu...I love the color pink, and it look so cute with the green in DZ! My cousin was a DZ and I used to love all the pink and green stuff she'd come home with

I have to go with my blue and blue, but I think that DG and ZTA are tied for a very close second. Zeta colors remind me of a Tiffany's box!

Sigma Kappa! Our colors are my favorite - I love the way they look together. Second place would go either to Pi Phi or DG.

I grew up loving all shades of green, and I think yellow/gold goes well with green, so joining Alpha Sigma Tau was a win-win for me! However, I always love the double blue and gold of Alpha Xi Delta too, especially when they are wearing ribbons.

I do like pairing pink with the brown and mode of Gamma Phi Beta...I never expected it to work but it does! Last year the Gamma Phi chapter on my campus had a pink and brown argyle print for a letter shirt (or maybe it was pink and white argyle on a brown shirt?)....anyway I thought it really popped.

Green has always been my favorite color! While I love my own sorority, I was always color envious of my Kappa Delta friends! :rolleyes:

I've noticed that green and red look less Christmas-y when you use them in uneven amounts, like lots of one with accents of the other. Plus, if you use olive and scarlet, that in itself should look less Christmas-y. I saw a room painted a nice leaf green with a black sofa and red vase and accent pillows. Nice.

RED is my favorite color, and the colors of my alma mater are red and white (scarlet and albino, technically speaking), so I would go with Alpha Omicron Pi or Alpha Sigma Alpha!!

I would have to sayDelta Gamma for sure! I love the pink and the way all three colors look together!!


In a close second would be Alpha Xi Delta and Kappa Delta! I like the light/olive green of Kappa Delta and I also like the way Alpha Xi Delta's colors blend together!

I'd have to go with Delta Zeta because I love the pink and green color combination. My tie-breakers for second are Zeta Tau Alpha and Kappa Delta.

Toss up between DG and ZTA. In addition to their colors I love the anchor symbolism and think the gamma they make with their arms is cute! ZTA, I love their combo of colors, use of the crown, and two of the girls I cheered with in college were ZTAs and I love those girls.

I have always loved pink and green together, so Delta Zeta.
Pi Beta Phi's and Alpha Phi's colors are striking, as well.
