I'm a Buffy addict too! :) Last night's ep was awesome - be sure to catch it on a rerun, or find someone with a tape you can borrow...

Was anyone else a teeny bit disapointed that they brought her back so soon? I was ready for at least a couple suspensful episodes. :(


Also, does anyone think that there will now be a third slayer? I figure they could always say that since her replacement has already been called foward (Kendra); there wouldn' be a 3rd one. But who knows!!

SoCalGirl - There won't be a third slayer because Faith is still alive albeit in jail. When Faith dies, another slayer will be called.

The season premiere was great!!! I'm such a hard-core Buffy fan its crazy. I'm taping all the syndication on FX. It was so disturbing how they made her crawl out of the grave and everything, god.

I totally agree! I was running around (during the commercial) yelling about how sick it was that they showed decomposed Buffy.:( Then I started rambling about recomposed Buffy :eek: had better get out of the grave or she'll be decomposed Buffy again.

:p I get so weird during that show!

Did you catch "The Pack" episode on fX? I adore that one. It was the episode that made me realize just how bad a jones I have for Xander! :o You can just imagine how much I love the Two Xanders episode. :) :sigh:

Hahaha ur a Xander girl?? I like his new haircut, it looks better than last year's scruffy hair he had going on. He's awesome, but I'm loyal to Angel. Even though I'm not really watching his show anymore. I have so much hw that I need to confine my TV to just Buffy every week.

I missed taping the "Angel" on FX and I'm really mad. Our VCR is brand new but I'm not always totally sure how to use it. Grrr. I do love The Pack, that's a great episode. Isn't it so weird seeing everyone from five years ago?? I never realized how much weight Sarah Michelle Gellar lost! I actually think she looked cuter then. She's so incredibly skinny now. Angel looks the same, which I guess is fitting! Actually since I'm home sick today I think I'm gonna rewatch my syndication ;)

Ohhhh... I sooo wish I got FX... :( I didn't get into Buffy until about season 3, so I haven't seen a lot of the earlier episodes.

There won't be a third Slayer. The line went from Buffy to Kendra to Faith. Buffy's already died once, and Kendra was called. Faith is the "current" Slayer.

That grave business was freaky! Can you imagine clawing your way out of a coffin, out of the ground, and turning around and seeing your tombstone?? :eek:

You can buy several episodes on VHS (including most of the Angel episodes Honey.) Go to Amazon.com and type "Buffy" in the search. Also by Christmas the entire season one will be out on DVD.

I want to thank you guys for clearing up the "third slayer" complex! I was talking out loud going "where's the new slayer? where's the new slayer? One died another one has to come!" I wish that they would get rid of Anya. I never liked her, I don't know why. And I think it would be funny if Spike and Buffy started something. I know they already did the vampire thing, but Spike is so funny and cute. And I agree, Xander's haircut is good this season!

amycat - Spike is looking CUTE this season! I love the curly hair! I don't know if you're a spoiler person or not but let me know cause I've got some good stuff on him ;)

lots-a-heart - Anya IS annoying! Do you remember "The Body", the ep last season when Buffy's mom died? How Anya was whining and whining when it had positively nothing to do with her??? And what was with the flat flipped-out hair??

aephi alum - I know, I just saw "Welcome to the Hellmouth" on FX for the first time ever! It was so awesome! I started watching during the second season, which is probably why it's my favorite.

Wine&Blue - I don't have the $$ to buy the tapes!! :( I'm only a high school student sans job collecting monthly allowance from her parents! Oh well, I'll figure something out!

This reminds me so much of my obsession over seaquest.
I was so mad.
I watched the first two or three seasons, without missing a SINGLE episode, right. ( yummy jonathan brandis).

SO- then we move and I can't GET IT ANYMORE

Same with buffy, right.
So, I watch the first two or three or four seasons...then I move my ass to indiana and can't catch up!!!!!!!


I've been TRYING SO HARD to watch buffy, at least just a little.

Anyone catch Buffy tonight at 1 AM central time on Fox? it was a reshowing of the season premier - but i thought it was cool that they showed it n fox, since we don't gt te UPN here :D

They're showing Buffy on Fox??? Since when?? Is this going to be a regular thing?

i have no idea if it is going to be a regular thing - but someone told me that UPN is owned by Fox, so, since here in Iowa we don't get UPN, and Buffy has such a huge following in areas that don't receive UPN, they played it on Fox at 1 AM - i guess they may determine that based on how many people actually tuned in to watch this past episode

I'm pretty sure UPN is not owned by Fox! But Buffy is so that's probably why...1 AM?? Kinda useless, isn't it?

Actually UPN is now owned by Fox through some corporate connection. They bought it about a month or two before UPN bought Buffy. It used to be against FCC rules to have this kind of ownership. But a few days before Fox bought UPN the FCC changed the rules.

So what did you all think of tonights episode?! I was loving the Spike/Buffy action! It's sooo gonna happen! :D

I hope they get away from this whole Buffy being sad because they brought her back thing. I'm ready to see the old Buffy. It looks like next week she may be a little more normal.

Hahaha okay I'll just write a summary for the general public just because I wanna relive the excitement...j/k! Be prepared for special emphasis on events concerning Spike..

Dawn brings Buffy home, and Buffy's totally acting spacey, she can't even button her own shirt. Then Spike shows up and omg, the look on his face when he saw her almost made me cry, like a combination of amazement and happiness. When Buffy saw him she buttoned her shirt in a hurry ;) and Spike saw her cut-up hands and tell Dawn that she must have clawed her way out of her own coffin, just like he did. He leads Buffy to the sofa and takes her hands and talks so gently to her, so non-Spike, it was heartbreaking. She asks him, "How long have I been gone?" And he says, "147 days yesterday..." Awwwwwww.

Then the Scooby Gang shows up and ruins the moment and Spike quietly leaves. They are much less gentle and are practically yelling, no sensitivity whatsoever. Buffy decides to go to bed and Xander and Anya leave. When they get outside they run into Spike and he yells at them for not telling him, even though he's been fighting alongside them all summer.

Then everyone starts getting possessed, and Willow determines that they "made" a demon when they did the Buffy-revival spell. Buffy decides to patrol and goes to visit Spike, and he tells her that not a night goes by that he doesn't remember the night she died and he blames himself for not being able to save her.

Willow does some research and finds out that while the demon is only temporary, it's goal is to kill Buffy. Buffy fights the thing and kills it, standard fare.

The next day at the shop, Buffy tells everyone that she was trapped in a hell dimension and she is ever so grateful to them for springing her loose. Willow (wearing an extremely ugly fuzzy red shirt) is immensely gratified and there are hugs all around. Buffy leaves the Magic Box and runs into Spike, and she sits with him and tells him the truth, which is that she was happy wherever she was, and she thinks it was heaven. He looks amazed. She tells him that her friends must never find out, and she leaves, roll credits!!

A+ for very good Buffy/Spike action!!!!!!

My favorite part of the whole Buffy Spike thing was when he said "I did save you. Not when it mattered of course. But every night since then." I love Spike.
