Is anyone still watching? If so, what is the deal with Mike's father?:mad: No wonder that boy is soooooooo messed up

That was what he said in the beginning when he first made his racist statement. He indicated that it was his father and uncle I think that had him thinking that all black people were no good.

Are we surprised? Look at the parents when looking at the actions of the son. I knew Mike had to be tame compared to his parents so there was no surprise for me.

Mike's father was trippin' ! I couldn't believe what he was saying. Mike and the other guy should have immediately tried to correct him. He was basically blaming Black people for the failure of the entire Cleveland public school system. It was sad for me to see that there are still people out there that are willing to make ridiculous, unsubstantiated claims about individuals they have little to no contact with. The worst part was, he wasn't even ashamed! It made me so mad:mad: !

I really feel Mike was ashamed. Did you listen to him say how hard it would be to go home? He's grown a little since his arrival.

I caught the show like half-way through it so I'm glad I missed what Mike's Dad was saying (or this post would have a different tone to it...)

I agree...I always thought Coral had been a bit (just a bit) too hard on Mike in the first place...I believe this trip has changed Mike's life and he's taking "baby steps" towards being a more tolerant and open-minded individual...Maybe in like a year or two he will go home and when one of his realtives--or even his Dad--says a racist remark he will take a stand against it.

As for Nicole...I used to like her b/c she appeared to be cool--but as we all know looks can be deceiving...

I wasn't surprised by how ignorant Mike's father was...Mike expressed his father's opinions in the first show. I just wanted to know what his father felt about there being Black roommates.
Also, why is Nicole still mad at Malik?? She is making herself look REAL silly and young. She cries about how she's trying to change...but, I'm not convinced.
FYI, MTV will be showing a Real World 2 relay...showing all the episodes thus far. This will air on Saturday, I think starting at 12 noon.

I wasn't surprised about what Mike's father said. But, what I applaud is Mike recognition of what was wrong with what his father said. I am really glad that he is using this experience to grow as a person.

Now, speaking of growing as a person, Nicole needs to take a cue from Mike. She looked extremely childish laying in the bed while Malik was out celebrating his birthday.

Malik finally meeting his father's side of the family was so touching. I love how his Grandma Ruby just embraced him into the family. I think everyone needs one of the loving and wise Black Grandmothers that can give you love, food and good advice.

Now that Malik knows his family, maybe he can finally get someone to braid his hair. Lord knows that those braids that Coral did were a HOT MESS!!! They were crooked and puffy. What was she doing? :confused:

Girl, I thought I was the only one who thought those braids were ridiculous!!! I hope Grandma Ruby helps a brotha out!

I just finished watching the episode that aired this past Tuesday! Laaaaaawd, Rachel makes me laugh! I can't believe she RATTED them out! That was so funny to me http://www.plauder-smilies.com/laugh.gif! But, why didn't they do similar posters or whatever for Malik & Kevin:confused:??...I mean, they keep saying "the boys are kiss @SSes"...Mike isn't the only one...I had to laugh too when Lori said she didn't want to touch his semen-soaked bed http://www.plauder-smilies.com/laugh.gif!

And, that doorman guy. He was cute, but if I was his "practically" fiance, his @$$ would be GRASS when I saw that episode of him flirting with Lori :mad:!

And, as far as Miss IMMATURE NICHOLE, that girl best to have kept up with the massive make-up job...b/c if she showed up without it one day they probably would've called the PO-PO on her @$$, as a d@mn intruder! I mean, what's with the eye make-up? Who showed her how to do that, first of all? And, then, who told her that was cute? That's a disgrace to M.A.C. counters EVERYWHERE!:confused:

Also, Rachel needs to be checked for being two-faced and acting as if she is totally innocent and pure, when she's a backstabber...you know she didn't say Nicole or Coral's name. ;) She is always following Coral and Nicole, dishing out attitude---WHY---I do not know, but when one of them dishes it out to her, she can't seem to take it...:eek: They all pick on Mike b/c they have nothing else better to do (they need to find themselves some men and get their mack on--youknowhatimean!!! Let's see how long it lasts.... :rolleyes: She's got at least one good argument left (and this is why I keep watching)--with CORAL.

Is it me, or does it seem like Coral is getting tired of Nicole? Remember, they used to be together all the time, but in the past couple of shows, Coral is hanging out with everyone now--hell, she even acknowledged Mike's stupid wrestling character!

Yeah, I noticed that, too. See, Coral is an idiot, but she can hold her own. Nicole is an idiot, but when she portrays her idiocracies, she makes herself look like a child with a temper tantrum. I am ONLY watching to see Coral chew Nicole up and spit her out. MTV KNOWS that's the BEST episode, so they're saving it for later, so we can keep watching every week.

It's about time Nicole apologized to the rest of the house because she was getting pretty unbearable. When they were decorating the store window, I'm sorry, but I just wanted somebody to smack her. That's why they lost. But, their window wasn't that good anyway. They had a good idea, but it came out like a ten year old had done it.

I am glad to see that Coral has stopped being such a b%#@& to Mike. It was really nice to see them playing around like that. That's how it's supposed to be when you live with someone in this situation.

Yeah, my boyfriend and I thought that Mike's character was actually pretty funny. He was acting just like all those WWF and WCW wrestlers. It was nice to see Coral act nice. Hopefully Nicole can live up to her words and follow suit. And you're right about that window looking like a child had done it. The OutKast window was pretty good.

I want to see a SHOWDOWN between Coral and Nicole. My bet is on Coral to win. She can hold her own in a match. Nicol just ends up looking like an idiot. She's definately got ISSUES. I hope the rest of her time at the house will go better. What was up with those argyle print pants she was wearing - not cute. She really tries too hard.

I really think Coral has changed her attitude for the better. She's stopped taking things so seriously, is getting along with everyone in the house, and seems to be taking her job responsibilities at Arista more seriously. I think that she has been watching Nicol tripping out and maybe took a good look at herself.

**One thing though, last night on the show, I was scared for Coral that her "Cha Cha's" were going to fall out of her little tank top while she was jumping around with Mike. Homegirl is definately well endowed!!!!

Well, the show is alright and I thank ya'll for keeping me up with updates. I've been real busy with a project that I got coming up... (and the one person on this list that knows me better not tell... ahem! I will send you email.)

First how much make-up did she really need to pick Bobby up from the airport. :eek: Geez....she looked like Elvira

Second....Bobby was awright...I mean he isn't my "type" physically...while I didn't think he was fugly.:D ..he wasn't fyne either

Third....Dang how could she even try to git some "play" after throwing up that many times right in front of the man?:o

And while on subject #3...what was up with dude still munching on his grub while Nicole was "spilling her guts" on the street AND dang he was all up in her face even afterwards....:confused:

I think little frail Bobby took the trip because he wanted to be on tv. He didn't seem interested enough in Nicole in my opinion. He barely looked at her when he spoke and I didn't see the "click" like old friends would have. And if Nicole would have thrown up one mo time.....I was gonna scream.....how sexy is that anyway, since ponytail Bobby from Detroit is the man that makes her weak?

I think Nicole is stupid.

#1--How are you supposed to be getting someone drunk, and you can't even hold your own liquor???
#2. How are you gonna put on ALL THAT DAMN MAKEUP (she looked EVEN funnier than she usually does) just to pick someone up from the airport?!
#3. How you gonna throw up, and still try to be cute and get some??? (After hurling once, I woulda hung that 'trying to get some' idea up in the closet and called it a night.)


Can't she tell that this fool doesn't like her like that??? I mean, she was sick as a dog, and he was downstairs playing pool. CORAL was the one cleaning her up.

I am with Coral on this one. This dude is playing on her emotions. I hope Miss Nicole watched this episode, and has forgotten about this dude.

That episode last night was so funny. Nicole really scared me with all the make up. What's with all that eye shadow? I thought Bobby looked ok, but I was expecting to see Mr. Super Fione :)

After I took a good look at him, and got over that damn pony tail he did look ok. I agree that he only came there to be on TV, he was not one bit interested in Nicole.

Coral was right on this one, he just straight played her, and she couldn't see it. Nicole cracked me up when she said he was being a real gentleman by not taking advantage of her. She was making me sick with all that throwing up she did..........just nasty is what it was.:eek:

But for real, that was a funny episode because Nicole had me laughing like the clowns do at the circus because she really looked like Bozo.

Last night's episode was sooooo hilarious. First of all Nicole layed the make-up on extra thick, and then the thing that had me on the floor was she had the NERVE to carry a compact with her and touch up that mess in the cab :eek: I'm so surprised that Bobby didn't have foundation and eyeshadow all over the side of his face when she gave him that monster hug at the airport. I too think brotha man just came to visit Nicole just so he could be on t.v. Lastly I'm so shocked that Coral has actually evolved into a likeable person.

Ok - here's my analogy.....After watching last night's episode I've got it all figured out...

Nicole is really a man. She's a cross-dresser. That explains all the makeup and the fact that she spends so much time in the bathroom. She always comes out of that bathroom fully clothed and made up....She's a man. Implants, hormones, whatever. She's a man!

Bobby the Great - hmmmmmm....Bobby Brown...the King of R&B....Confused Women (Nicole and Whitney) LOL!

Here's my analogy on him....Bobby is GAY! Back wherever he's from, he's a cross-dresser too! Something was just not right about him.

That was some weird mess last night. I was LMAO when Nicole turned her head, barfed, turned back around and was like "give me a little kiss".

I think Bobby was okay, needed to cut the hair. Nicole was gross...I'm mad MTV showed her throwing up close-up like that. I did NOT need to see that while I was drinking my Cappucino last night. Now, Bobby was laughing at her and not paying her any attention...I agree that he only wanted to be on TV. He probably has a girl back home and what not. That episode made Nicole look silly and desperate, while Bobby looked like a lil playa. I think Coral is becoming a nicer person, though...she has recognized the error of her ways and is doing things to better her attitude. I JUST CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SHE AND NICOLE HAVE THEIR BATTLE!!!!!!

I agree with prayerfull, I've always thought Nicole has transvestite like qualities and I went to a Drag race last night before the show came on. It only seemed to support my theory.

Bobby just wanted to be on TV. My friends and I all agreed that has a boyfriend at home. Besides even if he was hetrosexual, he wasn't feeling Nicole at all. He just let her throw-up all over the place and was chilling the whole time, what an a$$!:rolleyes:

I found Nicole's constant throwing up to be utterly disgusting. I mean the stuff was coming out so much that it really looked fake, like from a movie or something. But, that's what sh gets for trying to get a man drunk just to seduce him. Here's a hint: If a man really wants to "get busy" with you, you won't have to get him drunk first. Bobby the Great was not attractive to me at all. That curly ponytail just is not my cup of tea.

I said the same thing today as I was watching the repeat. I know she is an honor student at Morris Brown, but I would like to know if she walks around campus with all that makeup on? It has to be a major distraction to the other students(too see a fellow classmate looking like a clown). She definitely needs some guidance on how to apply makeup.
