What do you do before you go out?

I usually have a couple of doubles, get ready. Listen to some up beat, put me in the mood to go out music.

Depends on where I'm going/who I'm going with.

If I'm going out with my regular crew, I'll have some shots or a few beers while watching TV. I'll have a little more if I'm going to a club. I usually have to wait around for a few minutes while the women get ready.

If I go out with new-ish people, I'll have a mixed drink and sip on it until I'm ready to leave.

Usually when I go out, though, it's to a bar for drink specials, so pre-gaming isn't necessary.

Listen to some music while getting dressed then watch tv or talk to my roommate until its time to go.

Take a shower, get dressed, then either wait for whoever I'm going out with at my house or leave to meet up with them.

If it's going to be a big night...4 words: beer in the shower.

Otherwise maybe just a drink or two and I'll usually have the TV going, preferably some sort of comedy - either a movie or standup...if there's nothing on, I'll throw on a DVD.

It depends on how I'm feeling or where I'm going. Usually I'll shower, get dressed, then smoke a few and get high.

Same - I used to have a few drinks before going out, but to be honest, my tolerance has taken such a free fall that any sort of drinking before going out would probably cut my night short.

no pre-game. i start off with a jager bomb or some other strong shot at the bar, though. kick-start.

I know, I Maybe have a few drinks no more than twice a month now. What used to be accomplished in 7-8 beers can now be done with 3.

I have a specific play list I usually put on while I'm getting ready. Then my roommate gets annoyed when I leave my door open and that stuff is blasting. Hehe...

I think for some people you can tell how far out someone is from college by how low their tolerance is.

Live-in and I will probably never pregame, and it'd be very strange if we ever drank before 5 anymore. Unless it's Christmas Day.

What, no one else's family hits up the liquor cabinet while opening presents?

The liquor cabinet becomes my bedroom when I'm visiting family. I spend my Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays in a drunken haze.

We drank mimosas alllll day on Christmas day this year. Haha it was spectacular. Oh and not to mention the egg nog that comes in the weeks preceding Christmas.

Mimosas yes, egg nog no. Well, live-in likes egg nog. He had that while my dad and I polished off a magnum of champagne in our orange juice.

Please - I need to be a little tipsy to deal with my dad and live-in's family in the same room.

I do all sorts of stuff.

If it's an exchange or something we'll generally hit up someones house and start drinking, then head to the bar for the exchange, and then eventually migrate to our fraternity house and finish the night off.

If we're going out or something, we'll go somewhere and drink until about 11 or 12 then hit up the club. This is generally the most cost effective way to go.

If its a house party, well pretty much anything after 5:00 is game.

I drink so rarely now that my tolerance is zilch. I went to a wine tasting event last night and really had to pace myself carefully. I ended up ordering 5 bottles of wine and now I'm thinking "When in the world am I going to drink these?" They stay good if stored in a cool basement though, right?

Yes - don't forget that if they're a natural cork it's better to store the wine bottle on its side or tipped a little bit toward on its side - it'll keep the cork moist so it's easier to deal with.

They'll stay good forever there (or only get better) as long as it's not too hot and there's not a lot of sunlight.
