Drinking games, you got it...

Two that i'll share:

Kings - standard card game, sure a lot of ppl have played it
Stack of cards in the middle, each person picks up a card and does something according to the value of whatever card they picked.
2-5 take that many drinks
6-9 give out that many drinks in whatever combination you want.
10 - topic -> start a topic let's say oh sexual positions....and you start then go around the table until someone can't think of one (give 'em 3 seconds tops) and that person has to drink.
jack - thumb card, the person can place their thumb on the table (without telling anyone) at whatever time and the last person to have their thumb on the table has to drink.
q - question. Ask a question to someone, then they have to ask someone else a question to anyone else. The cruder the better :)
whoever can't think of a question or states a comment by mistake has to drink.
k - waterfall -> Whoever gets this card starts chugging their drink. Then the next person to their left starts chugging but he or she can't stop until the person on their right stops. Each person starts when the person to their right starts to drink but can't stop until that person stops - get it?
ace - rule card -> have fun....past favorite, we made all the girls at the table give oral sex to their bottle or cup before each time they took a sip.

here are my drinking games:
1. I never : you sit in a circle or whatever and then , someone starts and says something like I never did whatever, and for everyone who has they have to put one finger down , and every time you have to put a finger down you drink and it goes all the way until you have no more fingers to put down.

2. Ahole(most of you all know this game) it's kinda lengthy to explain, but if someone really wants to know how to play it, PM and I'll explain it ten fold

3. Beer Pong. Very cool game, (Thanks to my friend Dill for teaching me *) but a ping pong table is used or I guess a kitchen table could be used, you set the cups up (10) on each side and put them in like a pyramid formation.pour beer in all of them . The 2 people on each side take a ping pong ball and try to shot it in the other teams cups, then they have to drink it(wash the ball of each time of course) and then of the other team makes it in your cup you have to drink it, and then remove the cup so it becomes less and less cups,the tema with the most cups is the winner.

Ok enough games from me, I wouldn't want you all to think I am a luch or anything,lol

Red & Black - Guess if the card is red or black. If you are wrong you drink the # of drinks that the card is.

Questions - You fire random questions at each other - when someone asks you something you have to immediately turn to another person and ask them something. The whole point is to ask someone something that makes them laugh and then they drink.

FWIW I just played beer pong for the first time the other weekend. It took way too much thought.

really you think beer pong takes to much thought? all you do is throw the ball.All though it is hard trying to throw it in the cup sometimes :p

Ohhh :) There was a floor in my dorm (not the one I lived on) that was notorious for drinking. It was there that I learned a lot of drinking games :eek:

Let's see... there was A'hole...

Bottles... this is a silly one. You go around a circle, counting from 1 until someone has to drink. If your number is either 7, 11, is a multiple of 7 or 11, or contains a 7 or 11, you have to say "bottles" instead of the number. If you say the wrong thing, you drink and go back to 1. (Gets real interesting when you hit the 70's - "gee, was that 'bottles' 78 or 79???" :) )

One Up, One Down... this is one of those games where you either know the rules, or you don't and you have to learn the rules as you play.

Truth or Drink... just like Truth or Dare, except the "dare" is always a drink.

And of course, the all-time favorite, Bar Golf. :)

Thank you sooooo much for writing the instructions on how to play Kings. A friend and I were talking about it the other day except we didn't even have a clue how to play. All we knew is that it was a lot of fun. I've played it numerous times I just can never remember the rules by the time I sober up. :p

My fav, even though I'm an intoxicated dyslexic, is F*@k the Dealer.
You place one card of each number & face (2-ace) face up, in order on the table. The dealer gets the rest of the deck. The dealer looks at the top card, and the first player tries to guess what it is. If the 1st player guesses right, the dealer takes 10 drinks. If the 1st player isn't right, the dealer says "higher" or "lower". The 1st player takes another guess. If he guesses right on the 2nd try the dealer takes 5 drinks. If the 1st player doesn't guess right the dealer puts the card on it's respective stack and the 1st player takes as many drinks as his guess was off of the actual card. That continues around the players until 3 players in a row don't guess the card. At that point the dealer can pass the deck to anyone he likes.

FYI- At Xavier in Cincinnati (not my school) they call beer pong "beruit" (sp?) like at middle eastern city or something...We University of Cincinnati call it beer pong like normal people. :)

holy scheisse.....Lil_G...we play that game exactly but we call it Circle of Death!

Another game...Flip cup...it's very easy to play, and you usually drink mass quantities.

Up and down the river <------you can get drunk very very quickly playing this game.

Connection<---everyone gets drunk quick.

There's different ways kings can be played, each person has it's own house rules.

Now, For my second game to which we drink milk:
The Name Game.
Very simple and gets you hammed like you wouldn't believe. First person starts with a name -> can be anyone famous, real or fictional trick is someone else at the table (or the bar) must know this individual. Let's say Michael Jackson, then the person to the left of this person has to think of a name that begins with the last letter which in this case would be J - jerry seinfeld. And so on it goes. If someone manages to say a double name like micky mouse or mark mcguire, then it would bounce back to the same person who spoke last......
the catch, you chug your drink until you think of a name. Might sound easy but wait 'till you get stuck on a u or an i...
we generally have this unspoken rule to keep the game going we don't let anyone chug more than a full drink on a turn by giving them an answer if they still don't have one after awhile.

LOL...I think all these girls live a gagillion miles away from me....

lol - we play "flip cup" here too - but we call it canoe - we have big canoe eams and tournaments when we are tailgaiting - it gets crazy!

To get drunk fast, we just waterfall... the first person starts drinking and everyone else folows and continues drinking until the person who started it and to the right of them stops...

Century club.... take shot of beer every minute for a hour or two... it seriously gets you drunk - key to ths is to continue drinking your normal beer along with the shot - really works but is kinda boring.

Lil_g - we play Kings Cup almost the same way - but instead of the thumb thing for Jacks we do a few rounds of I NEVER and along with the waterfal for Kings we have a full unopened beer in the middle of the cards and you put your king on the beer - the person wo gets the 4th king must chug the entire can witout stopping.

I am now starting to remember my own rules that we had for Kings!!!! :) Everytime you would get a Jack, you would poor a little bit of your drink into this cup in the middle of the table. Also, you did the same if you got anything with a spade (plus whatever the assign card says to do). Now, everyone has a different drink (some have beer, some have wine coolers, some have mixed drinks). Now, this drink in the middle is pretty disgusting by the end of the game. Whoever gets the last King has to chug the drink! :eek:

Century Club- We call it Hour of Power. One of the coolest things I've seen done was to have a burned CD to play a minute of a song then change, for 60 minutes. That way you're not watching a clock & you just drink when the song changes.

Here we play century club for 100 minutes....1 shot of beer every minute...drunkenness much :)

In the rules of century club you are suppose to have a shot every minute for a 100 mins. Hence, century = 100

Yeah, Century Club is different from Power Hour for us, as the names imply.

Century Club is 100 shots, and Power hour is Sixty, obviously.

Then, there's K club, I've not yet done it, but I know you take a shot of beer each minute and you end up finishing 12.5 beers by the end of it. By my calculation, that's exactly 200 shots, assumming that each can of beer is 16oz. It's a terrible game, but from what I've seen of it...if you want to talk about a drunken state...try this one.

I gotta try it sometime. YOu yanks and all your crazy drinking games, i've heard about all those shot of beer events but never seen them in practice. Maybe i'll start a tradition here when the cold hits so our boys are impervious to the frigid temperatures on our way to the bars.

TRUE TRUE...well I will try to bust out the ones I can now (while I'm at work) don't want to get into too much trouble hahahah...

so...being that I'm in wisconsin..the land of beer, we know how to get the drinking games going. When it snows...it's all that we can do..being that lake affect snow and the other regular snow we get..we will stay inside...haha

so here ti goes....

Circle of death:
Played exactly the same way that Lil_G described Kings..exactly.

Mushroom:
You fill a huge cup full of beer (a cup that's equal to like three or four beers) place the cup in the center of a table and spread the cards around the cup..in a circle. Then you play with the rules from Circle of Death, with a few extras. The extra rules: when you take a card, after you have done what the card says, you have to place it on the cup with at least 2 corners of the card not touching the cup or any other card on the cup. When you take drinks, you have to place the card on the cup yourself, but if you give out drinks, you can make anyone you want place the card on the cup. Same goes for the face cards, you pull a face card, you can make anyone put the card on the cup. The person to make the cards fall off the cup has to slam the cup!

Century club:
Already explained

Cardinal: I really have no idea how to explain this one, you have to play it or see it played to even understand the game. If you know what cardinal is...or if you are a cardinal..much respect. "once a cardinal............"

Eights: Take all four eights form the deck and place them in a straight line. Deal the remaining cards out to the players. What you have to do is try to match the cards in your hand and lay them down in consecutive order with the eight of that suit. Say you have a seven of clubs, you lay it down by the eight of clubs, and you give out two drinks, because you lined up 2 cards...but say you only have a 5 of clubs, you lay that down, you have to drink the numer (4). Game gets hard, and ppl drink a whole crap load. You can play it with other cards too....7's, 6's...it really up to you.

I think evernone knows this.

Up and down the river:
Take seven cards, flip them face up and line them up. Only two ppl can play at a time, one deals, the other rides the boat(so to speak) You have to call high or low on each card (meaning if you think that card that is going to be flipped next is hiher or lower than the card it is going to be placed on..call higher or lower, if you call higher and it's lower, you have to drink. If it's the first card in the line, drink 1, the last card drink 7, if a pair comes up, it's double the drinks.

Connection: Deal out the entire deck to all the players, begin by flipping one card, if the next card flipped connects to the prior card...by same suit, or by same number, you have to drink the number of the card you flipped. Say the person before you flips a 7 of hearts, you flip a 7 of diamonds, you both drink 7 because you both have a seven that is connected because it's a pair. If the third person flips a diamond, you all drink, the two drink 7 still, and the other person drinks the number of the card they drew because they drew a diamond which connects with the proor card..the 7 of diamonds, which connects the other 7...this game can get very confusing when drunk!

Cuts:
Simple, cut the deack...the losers drink the difference of the card they drew from the card the winner drew.

99:

Deal out 4 cards to each player, place the remaining cards in the center of the table, and flip the last card over. These are the four key cards: King=automatic 99, 10 is minus 10, 9 is 0 and 4 is revers the order. So you start out by placing cards on top of the card in the center of the table, adding on each amount...the key is to get to 99, but stay under 99, if yo ucan't play a card when the pile is at 99 yo ulose and have to wait until the end of the game. if there is a 99..play the king, 4, 10 or 9 to save yourself, try to get rid of your other high cards first and save those key cards for last, the last person standing in the game gets to start a huge waterfall....excellent

Ok, I look like a ditz. I just saw the one shot every minute & didn't pay attention to the rest. Even thinking about beer gets me drunk, apparently. I do a lot for the sorority girl image. :)

Finally a thread I really know something about...

Tip the Cup~ Was a perenial favorite my pledge semester, we played girls against boys at parties and had the best time, and got pretty darn drunk.

F*ck You~ make a pyramid of cards with 6 cards across on the bottom going on, up make sure you put the cards face down. Then deal out the rest of the cards to everyone playing, evertone should have a few cards. Then starting at the lower right flip over a card, count to three, if your card is the same i.e. there is an 8 in the pyarmid you can put down an eight, if you put down a card you say f*ck you Susie, or who ever and they have to drink. Two or three people might have that card, but have to put it down before you count to three again. The last person you got f*cked has to drink the face value of the card times the level, i.e second level times 2, thrid, times 3; now here is th catch the last person who had to drink counts the time for you, its hell, but fun and a quick drinking game.

Up the river down the river~ Line up cards like for solitare, then try to make it down the line guessing higher or lower, if you are wrong you drink the face value of the card and have to start all the way up the river... this works trust me I know...

I also am a huge fan of sorority drinking songs we have learned quiet a few that double as drinking games.

There are others, but I was to drunk to remember the rules sober;)

P.S. Does anybody know how to play Rat Sh*t? I played it once, and don't remember how...

oh man, you were holding out on us, holy s%#$ you guys must really be into cards. Some of those game are pretty intense, but that cuts game was probably made up after everyone was hammed after playing the others.
There's some other ones i've seen but never had the honor of playing. Slaps? not sure what it's all about -

Yeah i'll be busing tables/serving....i've never done that before, the owner really cut me a break. How's this for lasting impressions, left my wallet at the pub ahhahahahaha.
Oh well, the other job is rep work for epson - pays very well....will be working a ton of hours a week though now. THe guy at the pub is like i can give you 40 hours a week np.
S%& man i'm still in school, not to mention i like to put in 10 hours a week into the fraternity.

Poker, Blackjack??

We'd play spoons or Michigan Rummy or Penny Poker. We'd win money there too.

One of our favorites is truth or dare- only we make up rules for shots.
