What I want is cool bands and good songs. These are all sappy, and I like sappy, but I also want fun...happy to be alive love songs too, cause most aren't that way. One I'll be putting on it is "Hey Girl" by O.A.R., so it's that type of fun-loving music I'm looking for but any sappy songs are appreciated too.

Can't remember who sang it in the movie but Dylan sang it on Time Out of Mind and it's killer. It's one of the few songs that can make me cry.

My boyfriend's favorite love song is by Nick Cave... unlikely I know.
The song is called Into My Arms

also if you'll notice that I include little instrumental tunes like Mellon Collie, A warm place, and reprise and if you know anyone even like Vanessa Carlton or anyone with a good piano solo, suggest it to me..I'd prefer no lyrics cause (for her) while I love her on piano, her lyrics are lacking.

By the way....Reprise is 24 seconds of music in it's most pure and perfect form......i'm sure they wanted it longer, but it said all it needs to say...wow!

oh MAN! My absolute FAVORITE love song ever is called "Who Am I" by The Samples. it is the BEST song ever. I had never even heard of the band, but I was in a long distance relationship with my love, and to make us feel closer, every day he would send me an email with a song attached to it, and it was the first one he sent me. there is this one line I LOVE in it that goes "there she stands in the doorway, living up to every diamond in that ring". It is BEAUTIFUL. I also love the song "When you really love a woman" or something like that by Seal (maybe?). Sorry this is so long!!!

Okay I have to say it. I second Don't Wanna Miss a Thing - Aerosmith. An ex song, and Angel - Aerosmith - seriously I cried two years after we broke up to this song.

And another Phil song: Knights in White Satin - Moody Blues. There's just something very dance inspiring, or holding one another about that song. Aww...memories....memories are bad. :(

Right now, my favorite "love song" is What a Beautiful Day by Chris Cagle (and it helps that he's so cute, too!) and I also like Phil Vassar's "That's When I Love You", Emerson Drive's "Fall Into Me", Rascal Flatts "This Everyday Love", and Martina McBride's "My Valentine".
