No, I do not know her personally. My comments were more about her music and her public image. I heard a few of her songs on the radio and I thought they were superficial and boring. She keeps saying that girls are supposed to be sweet and beautiful and wonderful and all American and all that vanilla stuff. If she is really such a sweetheart then good for her, she doesn't need to talk about it all the time. I'm just tired of all those country girls trying to be shania (who in my opinion is no great shakes either). I guess I just don't like country music, it's just my personal opinion.

There's a difference between not liking country music and calling someone stereotypical and shallow, toots.

I hate most country music myself. I like a couple of Carrie Underwood's songs (Before He Cheats, for example, because I have some exes whose cars I would love to destroy). She has a genuinely strong, good voice, and I happen to like her even more after learning a little about her.

She is a vegetarian like myself, which I think is extra cool because she is from cattle country.

Carrie is also a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma and takes her alumnae membership seriously. She spoke at their last Convention and stayed a long time to allow members to get photos and autographs. I also heard she wore her letters in a music video. It's refreshing to see a prominent alumna continue to give back to her sorority and continue to be proud of her sorority.

I think I've heard the song "Before He Cheats". I didn't like it. It just reminds me of that redneck culture that I don't care for. I have no interest in trashing exes' cars, it's just not who I am and what I stand for. Do many girls really want to destroy other people's cars? I didn't think so and I hope not. And To This Want-a-Be Promoter....And So She Published It On A Blog...See It's Like This I Sent This Lady Want-a-Be Promoter This Letter After Reading A Bulletin She Had Posted On The Web... She Was Calling all young country music artist...Saying that she was going to make all Star's.....See What Her And Her Boy Friend Were Doing Was Telling These Kid's That They Would Make Them Stars...Cuz They Had A Recording Studio...Then They Would Build Them Up ....Charge Them A Ton Of Cash To Record Them...Knowing All Along That 98% Of These Poor Kid's Did Not Have A Future In The Biz...That Is Just Sick...So I Wrote This To Her...
