Christmas/Holiday Card Exchange
 

Is anyone up for doing one this year? Does anyone want to head it up?

I ask because I'm heading one up on another board, and I heard some scuttlebutt that we were starting that one up too late!

I am sadly out for this year... Between having to defend my dissertation in less then two weeks and after that I will be moving I sadly have no time.

I'll participate, but have no time to head it up myself. If anyone can head it up, count me in.

I can head it up, if no one else is able to do so :) (Otherwise, I'll let them take it on!)

I'm in (but I also will warn you, I'm going to be going for an "early" cut-off date if I'm heading it up ;))

Sorry to hear that things aren't going well, but if you & Jennie want to decide which of you will do it, please let us know where to send our names/addresses. Would you like us to PM them (to whom?) or email them?

To anyone interested please PM me with your name and address. Also, there are a couple of sisters on the board who send religious cards, please let me know if you would find such a card offensive (because we don't want to offend anyone). Don't worry, I will only tell those sisters in particular (I know who they are), it won't be made "public knowledge".

So that we all have time to do our addressing and mailing and making sure everyone gets their cards by Christmas, I'm going to set a deadline that I need all names and addresses by December 1st, that way sisters have roughly 24 days to get the cards out.

Yeah to the holiday season!!!

Well, it's not me this year :( (but that's okay, this way someone else gets to enjoy the treat! I still have mine from a few years ago proudly displayed, and trying to figure out which room it'll be in once the move's completed!)

Honey, to answer your question - the town is near Chicago (about 50 miles), and I'll be working north of the city, so the possibility of meeting is *definitely* there! :)

Hmmm... You're not moving until after January, are you? I'll be there during part of the holidays - and hope to meet another Greek Chatter! ;)

Actually, the moving begins the end of this week - I move into my new place Jan. 2nd, if that's what you mean :)

We're hoping (mom is driving with me) to be in the area by New Year's Eve - hopefully we'll have good weather and no major delays/problems along the way!
