QUESTION FOR BLACK SORORS

I would like to pledge a sorority. However, at the same time, I am planning on becoming an RA because I need the money (my school is very expensive). Do you think I would be unconsidered because of my job as an RA?

If they trust you they will put you on.

QFP

It depends on the school and the organization of interest. Which organization is it? Are you sure they're available at your school?

Try this website as well. People on that site tend to have a lot of information about traditionally African American sororities and fraternities.

Ambitionz90 11-11-2008 06:19 PM

Thanks guys, I'm actually considering Zeta.

Ambitionz90 11-11-2008 06:38 PM

Let me thank you again, I've been getting feedback just within the few minutes I posted my question.

Jill1228 11-11-2008 11:34 PM

I guess someone miserably failed the class in Discretion 101...
but they passed the "Dig A Big Assed Hole For Yourself" class with flying colors!

^^^ Ambitionz, don't listen to her. It's exactly this NPC meddling that holds us back as a race.

Good luck on your journey!

See, that's what so great about you, Sen. You're just so dang positive and on the young people's side. They're lucky to have a touchstone like you here, lookin' out for 'em.

Reminds me of this thread where you were also the most helpful one on the board: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ad.php?t=90506

You have not been initiated into anybody's organization. How come you are calling us Sorors. Who are you? You are not my soror...

Please don't call us sorors. And many members are also RA's, honor students, athletes, presidents of other organizations, etc. It just depends on you and what you are capable of achieving...all at the same time.

1914blue1920 11-14-2008 01:59 PM

what did I overlook? when did she say sorors?
Ok, I see now, she should have said to black girls in a sorority.

Hoodini 11-17-2008 03:07 AM

Senusret I 11-17-2008 08:20 AM

who are you?

libramunoz 01-10-2009 06:43 PM

Sounds like the child just needed some guidance, I think that that's o.k. to give her some. It's hard to remember sometimes that we too once needed guidance ourselves.

Senusret I 01-10-2009 06:45 PM

and who are YOU?

libramunoz 01-10-2009 06:54 PM

Senusret I, why do you want to know

libramunoz 01-10-2009 06:54 PM

And my question is who are YOU?

knight_shadow 01-10-2009 07:02 PM

LOL. He/she/it told you, Sen!

jojapeach 01-10-2009 07:13 PM

^^^ LMAO! I bet money his/her/its neck rolled at least once. Where was I when I missed the other thread posted here. This stuff is hilarious.

libramunoz 01-10-2009 07:31 PM

Sen, if you want to know who I am, then I guess you'll have to keep on guessing...no seriously, I just wanted to know what was with the agression of asking me who am I? We don't know each other from a can of paint and to ask in such a harsh manner as to who I was...well....it just seemed kinda presumptious. I was just going along with the thread at hand.

tld221 01-10-2009 08:23 PM

Where's PB to call NewPoster a no-good, triflin joker?

Senusret I 01-10-2009 08:24 PM

Please observe the moratorium on the J-word.

The Council of Presidents has buried it.

Thanks.

:)

Word, like that? I missed the memo.

Senusret I 01-10-2009 08:45 PM

lol...silly

libramunoz 01-11-2009 02:30 PM

tld221, before I respond, I just wanted to know if you are specifically referring to me? Because if you are, you are making some very harsh and indelicate assumptions, with a heavy emphasis on the first part of assumption.

UGAalum94 01-11-2009 03:02 PM

There's no troll or sockpuppet like an NPHC troll or sockpuppet.

libramunoz 01-11-2009 03:08 PM

UGAlum94, hate to tell ya, I an NO TROLL or Sockpuppet! Baby girl/boy/thing I did go to an HBCU and graduated in 96! I'm not "trolling" around on anything! I was just giving advice to the girl and her question! SensusetI the first decided to start with the questions and I decided to finish them. Now, if you want any further info on me, send me a private message and let's finish this, ya dig?
