This summer will be my first year at school and I want to join a sororitie. The thing is I've heard you have to be super skinny. Can you get persecuted for not being small?:confused:

Second: Can you be "persecuted"? Sure. That's true in any situation. Should you be? Absolutely not. Pay attention to the organizations and the members.

LOL I love the responses so far, but to answer your question a bit nicer: No you won't get persecuted, prosecuted, or harmed because you're not a rail...

If you're that uncomfortable and worried about your weight compared to the other girls, then you don't have to go to that chapter with intentions of recruiting... Just meet them for the hell of it!

And if the chapter won't talk to you because of your look, then be sure to tell them they're stuck up bitches... and once they're 50 they'll look worse than you :-) At least I hope karma does that to them!
