Has anyone seen this show? I just caught a glance of it. One more interesting tidbit. There is a SDT sister on the show.

I caught half of the episode with the SDT in it..i thought it was cute when she sang part of her chant/song/cheer lol.

Overall though, I think its incredibly fake and horrible..ill never watch again.

Who's the SDT sister? Is it one of the 4 girls that got eliminated first?

One of those girls, Erin (the one that thought she was going on a trip, but ended up having to go home) reminds me of a girl I know---coincidentally named Erin also.

Yeah she was eliminated with the first group. Somewhat sad actually. They thought they were going to London and were actually being sent home. Ow!

I saw a clip of Paris on the Tyra Show and she was saying that she would pick a BFF that didn't just want to be around her for the fame...

So you give ppl a chance to be on TV if they'll be your friend? That makes perfect sense. :rolleyes:

So what is TTYN? Is it an actual acronym for something or is Paris confusing ttyl and ttfn?

A few sites I've looked up say it stands for "talk to you never"

NP. I've never watched the show, but from what I've seen online, she uses that acronym when voting someone off.

Are these girls stupid? Do they not realize that Dirt Nasty is Simon Rex? Doesn't anybody ever watch What I Like About You with Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth?

Dirt Nasty is Simon Rex's rap alias. This isn't the first show that he came on as his Dirt Nasty alias, and I believe there is at least one song that he has.

I saw her say the same thing on The View. Too hilarious! Yes, Paris, you say you want someone who "likes me for me" and so you have a contest and televise it. Please don't embarass yourself or deny the very obvious publicity stunt by making yourself sound more altruistic than you are! :rolleyes:

She is brining her to show to the Uk now. It will be airedon ITV 2 in 2009.

I have to admit-I felt like a loser watching this show. It was great!!! I'm not going to say who she picked but, for those of you who know...What do you think about the person she picked?

I expected her to pick that person because the show prior to that gave away who was going to win (when you watch the ending credits). If you look closely you can see the credits rolling as Paris goes over to hug the loser while the winner goes the opposite way to hug the other girls from the show. This gave me the impression that she was hugging the loser because she hadn't seen her in a while, as the winner wanted to say hello to other people.

I'm such a dork but, I really liked the show....Thoughts???

I hate to admit that I watched the show. I missed the first few episodes but caught the rest. I wanted Brittany to win from the very beginning so I was happy with the decision. Vanessa WAS crazy. And I'm sorry, but Paris laying down in her chair with the chandelier above her when talking to the camera by herself drove me nuts. She wouldn't move at all or show any kind of emotion, no matter what she was saying. She was like a robot to me. Kinda scary.

I give this newfound, so-called "friendship" (making quote'y signs in the air with my finger) a life expectancy of 1 month, tops.

I saw a few episodes of this - sadly - and I've got to say that out of all the girls there, the person who won seemed to only want to be there for her own benefit (i.e. to get her music "out there")

Has anyone watched this season? I just started watching tonight.. and what a perfect night to start. Paris started talking about how she's always wanted to be in a sorority, but how she was never able to join. She said she was going to have everyone "pledge" for the day. :rolleyes: She basically had them drink nasty shots. Awesome.

One of the girls, Kaitlin, who's apparently in a sorority, said something to the effect of, "I'm not thrilled because I know what pledging consists of." Another girl said, "I hate sorority girls.. they're all bitchy, and cliquey, and they pay for their friends." More great publicity!

Does anyone happen to know what sorority Kaitlin's in?

Kaitlin is a Delta Sigma Tau. She went to SUNY College at Oneonta. Hooray for Google and MySpace! Watch out, Sherlock Holmes!

According to this photo, she is a Delta Sigma Tau, not Delta Sigma Theta (which is what most think of when they see DST)

Wait wait wait, am I brain dead cause it's late? The shirt in that picture says something Sigma Tau. The NPC Sorority is Sigma Delta Tau, and they have that at that school, but her MySpace says Delta Sigma Tau.

ETA: There's a local at Mount Union College in Ohio that's Delta Sigma Tau but....what? I'm really looking into this way too much.

Haha, I'm guessing its a local at her school, because well it's not an NPC sorority.

Her MySpace says she went to SUNY Oneonta though, not Mount Union. Well, MySpace isn't exactly the epitome of reliable information, so I'm over it.

What Kaitlin said isn't going to look to good for her sorority... she said something along the lines of, "I'm not excited, I know what goes on during pledging." That to me screams some sort of hazing.
And also, did anyone notice that Paris "initiated" her pnbff's into the "BFF" sorority BEFORE they were considered pledges? hehe I think she was confused. Shocking. :-|

Yeah, I definitely thought hazing, too. She could've played it up for the dramatic effect, but it definitely seemed that way.

She definitely had the terminology confused. She decided it was pledge day then was making them go through stuff as part of their initiation?? Yeah, whatever.

Okay...So, I finally sat down to watch the new season on my computer.

Can I just say how IRRITATING the girl with the squeaky voice is! No one-and I mean NO ONE talks like that in REAL LIFE!!! Then, to top it off (in episode 1), she has the audacity to say she was the best looking girl in the club...REALLY???

How could you not tell who Gina was? Some of these girls must be really stupid! Can I also just say that being hateful and telling someone that they look too tan is not "keepin' it real"...it's just bein' a B****! I get so sick of hearing people use "keepin' it real" as an excuse to be hateful. It's not cute and it's uncalled for.

Also, why do these girls keep saying, "Wow-this is a competition. This is for real, now." It HAS BEEN REAL this whole time. I hate when people say they need to "step up" their game. How about you not be a complete freak show, to begin with. Then, you won't have to step anything up!


Oh...I forgot. I think it's funny that the same girl who said sorority girls "Pay for their friends" is doing JUST THAT by being on this show. What does she think she is technically doing?

That is my rant...I like this show. I'm lame!

Haha. Love this whole post. The funniest thing you pointed out was at the end there.. this girl is saying that in a sorority you need to pay for your friends, and sorority girls basically can't get any on their own. But she's currently jumping through hoops to gain just one friend. How sad.

I have to say that I think this show makes me like her a lot more...she is clearly just having fun and not taking herself too seriously. Eliminating a girl because a tiger roared at her...priceless.

I'd never watch this show for 2seconds during a normal TV season, but it's perfect for the summer when there's nothing else to watch. Total mindless entertainment.
