Any Sorority Publications?
Are there any national sorority publications, or other publications that get distributed to sororities. I am trying to get a magazine out to 1000's of sorority members.
Thanks, Randy |
Kappa Kappa Gamma has a national magazine called "The Key."
|
You should contact the College Fraternity Editors Association
http://www.cfea.org |
Pi Phi has one too. It's called The Arrow
|
DPhiE's International Magazine is The Triad
|
Alpha Xi Delta sisters receive "The Quill"
|
Us Alpha Gams receive the Alpha Gamma Delta Quarterly.
|
now come on OohTeenyWahine, the Alpha Gam publication's name doesn't fit with the rest of ours http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif you should work on changing that (j/k) i've looked through a few of my mom's though (is that allowed?!?!) and its really well put together.. very nice http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Alpha Chi Omega's magazine is the Lyre. You never know who you're going to see in that magazine. I saw my headmistress, the lady who (I found out later) wrote my Panhel rec, in the Lyre! When I told her I was an AX, she was sooo excited! Plus, it's always cool to see your friends listed for various achievements.

Sigma Kappa's receive The Triangle.

Just for fun you could propose a change at your next convention to change the magazine's name . . . maybe after your squirrel mascott . . the name escapes me for the moment.

Virtually every sorority publishes its own magazine/journal, however, I don't know if the Head Offices will permit you have the mailing list, or permit you to "piggyback" on their mailouts. Just my $0.02. |
Thanks for all the publication names.
Here is a challenge for all you marketing students: You want to reach as many college girls with your product info as possible, but cannot afford a TV or radio commercial. What are some of the things you would do? Thanks for any ideas. |
Randy, I hate to be a wet blanket but I agree with CutiePie2000 - there is NWIH a sorority is going to give out its mailing list. We have "nationally approved" vendors for sweatshirts and such and they don't even get our individual names.
Try approaching college newspapers about putting a flyer in their issues. |
***Correction***
It's called Sigma Kappa Triangle, not The Triangle. Oopsie daisies. |
