the actual university graduation ceremony is may 9th sometimee...I AINT GOING TO THAT ISHT!! they're not going to call my name so i'm not about to sit through all that boring mess just to get a medallion. that's less junk to keep!

My graduation seems late. I don't graduate until the 18th of May. Classes end on the fifth. I'm getting antsy!

I am done with class June 20th (had to take a summer course :mad: ) and graduate August 2nd! Will I march? My mommy might make me (I am the first in our family to graduate college), but I hope she doesn't.

CONGRATS Sorors DztndDiva and MeezDiscreet and to SF Gina and LibraSoul (you graduate the day after my 28th birthday). . . Enjoy your last days as an undergraduate because the REAL WORLD is the Different World for real.

LMAO @ MeezDiscreet typing for us her announcement. My cousin graduates the same day with a similar degree as you, but her announcement had spelling errors. :o :eek: :p :confused:

Well, if I can pass my LAST two Spanish classes, then I'll be graduating on August 2 :D. I finish my degree requirements this semester, but damn this Spanish!!

Anybody know where I can get some Spanish help? I don't think our language lab is going to be open during the summer :(

I didn't really want to walk either...but my parents are making me. Plus my grandfather is coming to see his first grandchild graduate :D I want to tell them, "I don't even get the diploma until two months later"...all I am doing is getting a rolled up letter saying as such on graduation day :p

Gammagirl and librasoul...please don't discount your families desire to watch you march. Yes, you'll get the diploma either way but it really means a lot to them. I didn't realize this until my graduation - I was the first grandchild to actually graduate college-and while I was a tad embarassed at the way they hooted and hollered when they called my name-it was only afterwards when I met everybody in bklyn that they told about me (well it seems they told the whole borough) how proud they really were (oh you're the one who just graduated) ;)

You've earned the right - just stroll on up there and pose for the camera!
