1765 PNMs at Mizzou!
 

The numbers are out- there are 1765 girls going through recruitment this year at Mizzou.
This is the biggest recruitment at Missouri ever.
If no one drops, etc. (which, obviously, wont happen) quota would be 117 a chapter!

What were the numbers for the past few years? In other words, how big of an increase is this?

Very exciting- though probably stressful- for the chapters!

I believe last year quota was in the upper 80s.

This is only about 100 more PNMs than last year.

Woof! That's a lot of women!

Alabama just broke the 2000 threshold...

Not as far as I know.

Give Sigma Kappa a year or two and they will probably need to get on that. They have seemed underserved (IMO) for awhile. And one additional chapter doesn't help much when registrations keep going up!

Sigma Kappa re-colonized last year.

I think, if DubaiSis doesn't mind me clarifying for her, that she meant that Mizzou PHA should give SK a year or two to establish themselves, and then PHA needs to get on expansion. (I'm pretty sure you read her post the way I did at first, hence my clarification.)

I haven't heard anything about more potential expansion, and I imagine it will depend a bit on housing. But who knows? There is definitely room! It'd be nice if the chapters were a bit smaller, since finding a place for everyone to meet right now is very difficult.

It would be great if AGD could return to campus.

yes pbear19, that's exactly what I meant. Funny... you think what you say is 100% understandable... Oh well. At least someone was able to jump in right away and clarify.

What an incredible number of PNMs! 40 years ago this year I was PH president at Mizzou. We had about 480 women signed up for recruitment and we thought that was tremendous.
