Has Anyone Heard About This???
This is just sickening...
Delray Beach baby thrown from car, then into canal By Stephanie Slater Palm Beach Post Staff Writer Friday, April 28, 2006 DELRAY BEACH — A 20-year-old man angry about breaking up with his son's mother threw the baby out a car window early Thursday, smashed the 9-month-old's head on the car's hood and then tossed him into a canal to die, police said. Charles Edward Tyson reportedly returned to where he had left the infant's mother, Shermaka Mosley, 17, and said: "You better go get your baby before the alligators get him." For the Rest of the Story |

DMX Might Change His Name
DMX Contemplates Name Change
05/30/2006 4:00 PM, Yahoo! Music LAUNCH Radio Networks Rapper and actor DMX is prepping for the release of his new album, The Year Of The Dog, Again, and he's also contemplating a name change. He told MTV.com, "It's just the whole Dark Man thing. Because if you look at it, from a spiritual point of view, the Bible teaches us that we can speak things into existence... And Dark Man, you know, it may not be the best name for me." The rapper, who hopes to become a preacher when his rap days are over, recently released a new single, "Lord Give Me A Sign," which was produced by Scott Storch. DMX explained, "The Scott Scorch thing... he charges $80,000 a beat, very expensive. We bought two (beats), and he gave me the beat (for 'Lord Give Me a Sign') for free. So it was ironic that the potentially biggest song on the album would be given to us for free. On every album, there's a gospel song or a prayer. The song's either a conversation with the Lord or just a reference to how much I love the Lord and what I'm willing to do... We got the beat, and I heard the beat, and I was like, 'Lord, give me a sign!' The beat created the song, and I just ran from there." While DMX is hoping to make a spiritual change, he made it clear that he doesn't see himself as a role model: "No, I think it's my responsibility to tell them the truth. To be... I'm not gonna set them up for a downfall. 'Oh life is perfect, and you do the right thing and nothing bad will happen' -- nah, that's bulls--t." The rapper added: "You give them the good, you give them the bad, and let them know regardless of what happens, get up and keep moving." |
Before he go calling himself some random symbol or crazy name, I hope he get some help.

Patty Jackson's 411 for the week of May 29th, 2006
Bobby Brown says recent media reports about his wife’s drug abuse are false. Bobby says Whitney is doing fine. What world is Bobby living in? He has not seen Whitney in months. They are separated and on the brink of divorce. Their relationship has been rocky for a while. Despite her problems, Whitney realized she was tired of the Brown family and she let Bobby know it. She was fed up with his mother, his sister Tina and other members of his family. They were living off of her. Bobby has been carrying on for months living the good life and chasing women. He is currently filming the second season of Being Bobby Brown. The second season will feature Bobby’s kids and his sister Tina. Tina Brown got a lot of money for selling her story of Whitney’s drug problems to the tabloids. Bobby knows his sister stabbed his wife in the back, but he continues to hang with her. A lot of people believe Bobby convinced his sister to sell her story so they could split the money. Tina and Whitney used to get high together so she knew all about the drug dens, sex toys and abuse. Bobby is in denial about his troubled marriage. He needs to get help along with Whitney. This is certainly not the best of times for Star Jones Reynolds. Amidst rumors that she may be forced off of the ABC talker The View, comes word that her marriage is in trouble. Her reps deny it, but sources say Star and Al are close to splitting, and she is considering a divorce lawyer. Star and Al got married in 2004 in a lavish ceremony. Star was warned to be careful considering Al dated men before marrying her, but Star wouldn’t listen. She was in love and to hell with those who had a problem with it. If the marriage ended, would Star seek an annulment? If she loses her job, how will she support him? Al quit his job as an investment banker when they hooked up. He hasn’t worked since. He just parties and lives fabulously. At the moment, it doesn’t look like Gayle King, Oprah’s best friend, will be working on The View as a replacement for Star. The deal hit a snag, and it appears Barbara is looking elsewhere. Word has it former Fox Good Day Live Host Bo Griffin could get the job. Griffin is a South Carolina native with a journalism background. She also resembles Star, just prettier. I’m sure Star is fed up with Barbara Walters hiring her nemesis Rosie O’Donnell to join The View and her husband, who won’t work. Gabrielle Union is set to star in Tyler Perry’s new movie Daddy’s Little Girl. Gabrielle will play a successful attorney who falls in love with a mechanic who has three kids. Filming starts June 19th with a scheduled release of February 2007. Tyler is writing and directing the movie. Idris Elba is playing the mechanic. Other stars include Tracee Ellis Ross, Melinda Williams and Lou Gossett, Jr. Halle Berry has enrolled herself in a relationship 12 step program. The star of X-Men III has been unlucky in love in the past, including two divorces from Baseball’s David Justice and Singer Eric Benet. Halle has a new relationship with Model Gabriel Aubry. She wants this one to last, and doesn’t want to repeat any mistakes. Mariah Carey is coming to Philly. The Adventures of Mimi arrives in Philly on August 11th at the Wachovia Center. Mariah has also signed on to be the new spokeswoman for Gillette razors. She will be appearing in their Legs of A Goddess campaign. Mariah recently had her legs insured for $1 billion. Teena Marie is also coming to town Saturday, July 1st at The Dell East, 33rd and Ridge. Michael Jackson will not be allowed full custody of his children, Paris and Prince. Michael’s ex, Debbie Rowe, gave up her parental rights to her children for millions of dollars. But, when Michael got into trouble with his latest child molestation case, she decided she wanted to be a part of her children’s lives. The children are now 7 and 8 years old, and they have no idea that Debbie Rowe is their mother. They’re being raised by their nanny Grace, a woman who used to date Michael’s older brother Jermaine. Rowe has scored a major victory in this case probably because Michael is not the children’s biological father. When the TV show Girlfriends returns for a seventh season, don’t look for Actress Jill Marie Jones who played “Toni” on the show. When the show changed networks to the CW, that cast was asked to take a pay cut. Jill said no, and decided to leave the show. Jay-Z is losing weight for his woman. Jay-Z and Beyonce are still going strong, despite rumors of his probing eye. Since hooking up with Beyonce, Jay-Z has gained 30 pounds. So far he’s lost 15, and he’s gearing up to join Beyonce as they collaborate on her new song “Déjà vu.” The new CD B-Day, for Beyonce’s birthday, is coming out September 4th. Jamie Foxx will be joining Queen Latifah in the HBO movie Life Support. The movie is about the AIDS epidemic in the black community. The hip-hop community is after the Mighty O. First, there was Ludacris who clashed with Oprah over the use of the “N” word. Then there was Rapper 50 Cent, who claimed Oprah only catered to older white women. Now Rapper/Actor Ice Cube is claiming that Oprah has a problem with hip-hop. He says she can have rapists, child molesters, and lying authors on her show, but not him despite the fact that he has starred in blockbuster movies and sold millions of records. Oprah denies having a problem with hip-hop or hip-hop artists. American Idol Judge Paula Abdul continues to baffle people with her strange behavior. On a recent shopping spree Paula dropped a cool ten thousand dollars while shopping. She brought practically everything in the boutique, while hugging and kissing all the employees. The wine and crystal were flowing and Paula kept a glass in her hand. Her reps deny she was drinking. Singer Brandy has landed a new gig. She will be a judge on the new Simon Cowell talent show America’s Got Talent. The show debuts June 21st on NBC. Regis Philbin will be the shows host, and David Hasselhoff of Baywatch fame will also serve as judge. The Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun is coming to ABC. The TV version will feature Sean Diddy Combs, Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald and Sanaa Lathan. Filming starts in Toronto this December. Mary Wilson of the Supremes thanks everyone for their prayers and cards. She didn’t have to undergo heart bypass after suffering chest pains. Doctors decided to go another route. Wilson underwent an angio plasty procedure, and she says after a brief recuperation, she will continue touring. The Queen of All Media Wendy Williams is about to release her third book and first novel. Drama Is Her Middle Name: The Ritz Harper Chronicles Volume 1 is due out on June 20th. Wendy’s previous books include Wendy’s Got The Heat and The Wendy Williams Experience. WHAT’S THE UNDERGROUND BUZZ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This Oscar-winning actor loves to have unprotected sex with Groupies. The groupies are not African American. The groupies have started to spill the beans about how kinky this actor is. If you want to get his attention, you should wear stiletto heals and have long blonde hair. This young Actress was a cute TV Kid and now she is the star of a very popular teen show. Despite her success her lack of style is keeping her from being a major style. She tries hard but she just doesn’t have it. Her hair and clothes are always a mess. She needs a stylist bad. |
2nd Buzz...
Poor Raven. I love her but she needs a new stylist. She is beautiful but she looks a mess a lot. 1st Well...since there are not a lot of Oscar winning black actors........ |

Clearly, I hate that HIV even exists and that anyone has it, but it always hurts most when it hits close to home.

Lisa Turtle sues National Enquirer (AP)
LOS ANGELES (June 1) - Lark Voorhies, who played Lisa Turtle in TV's "Saved By the Bell," has sued The National Enquirer for libel over an article that included claims she had a drug problem.
The suit, which seeks unspecified damages, was filed Tuesday in Superior Court. The suit says Voorhies, whom it describes as a "famous and popular actress," lost several "potential acting and hosting jobs" after the tabloid published a June 2005 article that said she was hospitalized for a cocaine addiction. Her doctor wrote a letter confirming that she had no addiction and was not hospitalized for drug abuse, the suit said. The tabloid story was "patently false and heinous," and humiliated her, the actress stated in her lawsuit, which alleges libel, invasion of privacy, unauthorized use of her image, name or voice and other claims. Voorhies could not be located by The Associated Press for comment. A call to National Enquirer after hours Wednesday was not immediately returned. |

Prince Albert has done it again (People.com)
Monaco's Prince Albert II – who last year officially recognized a toddler son he'd fathered with a Togolese flight attendant – has now acknowledged a second child born out of wedlock: a 14-year-old girl living in California.
The unmarried Albert, 48, "officially recognizes a paternity that was legally established a few weeks ago," his lawyer, Thierry Lacoste, is quoted as saying in an interview with French newspaper Le Figaro published Thursday. According to the Associated Press, Lacoste also said that Albert had intended to keep his parentage of Jazmin Grace Rotolo secret until she reached adulthood, but "the situation had become untenable for her" in recent weeks as speculation about the identity of her father increased. The bloodline of the teen, who lives in Palm Desert, Calif., was hinted at Wednesday by the Palm Springs newspaper The Desert Sun, which reported that Rotolo's 1992 Riverside County birth certificate identifies her father as Albert Alexandre Louis Pierre Grimaldi of Monaco. The royal palace refused to comment to The Desert Sun, calling the matter a private affair of the prince. French media reports have said Albert had a brief affair with the girl's mother, former waitress Tamara Rotolo, in 1991 when she vacationed on the French Riviera. The Desert Sun said it was unable to reach Tamara, but Lacoste said Jazmin is welcome in Monaco – though she cannot take the throne and will not bear the Grimaldi family name. The same holds true for Albert's other out-of-wedlock child, 3-year-old Alexandre. Albert's late parents were Prince Rainer III and American movie star Grace Kelly. |
Speaking of Prince Albert II and Monaco, I was just over in Monte Carlo/Monaco vacationing wiht the rich and famous and don't you know that every store that you go into they have a fresh 8x10 glossy of Prince Al II in every store...it sit right up in the front like in the window in a frame of each store...I was cracking up each time I passed a store and saw it.

They won't have any claims to the throne. I think it's bad but I do hope those kids get PAID!!!!
Caroline's oldest son is next in line. Considering how often Stephane jumps from man to man, I'm suprised that she hasn't had a child out of wedlock. Is the child in Calforina's mother also black? |
Sexiest Man Alive back up on the market (People.com)
Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz have decided to spend time apart, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
The couple "have decided to take time off as a couple. Due to busy work schedules and so much time apart, they mutually decided four weeks ago that separating was the best thing to do at this time," according to a joint statement from the couple to PEOPLE. "They're very good friends, but they haven't been able to be together," a source close to Cruz tells PEOPLE. "Who knows what the future holds." Cruz, 32, is currently in Spain filming Manolete, a drama about the legendary Spanish bullfighter, costarring Adrien Brody. Meanwhile, McConaughey, 36, is in the U.S. shooting We Are Marshall, about former Marshall University football coach Jack Lengyel. "(Penelope) said it has been too hard to have a relationship when you see the other person every six weeks," adds the source. The couple last saw each other in February when McConaughey visited Cruz on location in Spain. McConaughey, PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive, and Cruz have been dating for more than a year. They met while filming last year's Sahara. |
Luda and Ye win lawsuit (AP)
NEW YORK (June 1) - Top-selling rappers Kanye West and Ludacris won a copyright infringement trial Thursday when a jury concluded their 2003 hit 'Stand Up' did not copy a tune by New Jersey musicians.
"I hope the plaintiffs enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame," Ludacris said after the verdict was announced. "This whole experience is proof to me of why I will always fight for what I believe in." Ten jurors returned the verdict after less than a day of deliberations in the two-week trial in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. West was not in court. Outside the courthouse, Ludacris signed autographs and posed for pictures before leaving for Los Angeles to promote a documentary he narrated about a female basketball team in Seattle. Ludacris said he never doubted the jury would agree that the song he and West created did not sound like "Straight Like That," a tune created by an East Orange, N.J., group named I.O.F., or It's Only Family. "The only thoughts and ideas I borrow from are those of my own," Ludacris said. "Straight Like That" never made it beyond some air time on college radio after copies of it were released in September 2001. "Stand Up" was released in the fall of 2003 on Ludacris' album "Chicken and Beer" and became a huge hit. At issue at trial were the words "like that," repeated more than 80 times in each song, though one song precedes the phrase with "straight" while the other precedes it with "just." Jeff Billingsley, a plaintiff and owner of Cobble One Records, of Newark, N.J., said the verdict will be appealed. He said the plaintiffs were damaged when the judge excluded their music expert from testifying as part of sanctions taken against a lawyer who was dismissed from the case before trial. Mel Sachs, the lawyer who argued the case for the plaintiffs, said the issue provides the group with a stronger case on appeal. "We were at a severe disadvantage," he said. Sachs said the verdict was disappointing but understandable since the plaintiffs could not present their expert. Ludacris, whose real name is Chris Bridges, has been praised for his music and his acting roles in the Oscar-winning "Crash" and "Hustle and Flow." West has won six Grammy Awards for his two multiplatinum albums, "The College Dropout" and "Late Registration." He is known for his outspoken nature, including when he said President Bush "doesn't care about black people" during a telethon for Hurricane Katrina victims. When West testified last week, he said he had sympathy for the New Jersey group. "It's like that glimmer of hope. You're this close," he said. "I've been in those shoes. It's hard to make it in this game. I understand why they would sue." Ludacris, though, said after the verdict that he saw one of the plaintiffs fall asleep during the trial and was thinking he was not going to let someone like that "ruin my reputation." "I feel no sympathy," he said, "not at all." |
