I passed my motorcycle driving test today! I was so nervous about it. Now I can ride my new bike to work every day, even the three days I have night classes (with a motorcycle permit you can only drive during daylight hours, and my classes aren't over until after dark), and since it gets almost three times better mpg than my car, that's a very good thing! Hubby and I went on a drive Sunday and I got about 67 mpg. :)

That's cool! Mr. Icelandelf and I are going to take one of the Motorcycle training classes in a few weekends (he already has his license but I don't want to go by myself.)

I saw a pledge sister last weekend I haven't seen in almost ten years! We giggled like we always did! It was great. And we both looked hot.

I love Gamma Phi.:D

I'm so excited for THE OLYMICS!!
And for those of you watching the rowing events, cheer on my friends in the Men's 8+, particularly (bow seat through 3 seat) Beau Hoopman, Matt Schnobrich and Micah Boyd! GO USA!

Yeah, have fun! I always wanted to go Airborne, stress fractures ruined that though. Enjoy the jumping and remember how to do a correct landing LOL

I guess it's a good time to break some big news.

I am pregnant, due in late March. I anticipated having a boy, but I am having a little legacy! Boys run STRONG in my husband's family, so it was a surprise for sure (although I thought all along it would be a girl, but attributed that to just wishful thinking!).

SmartBlondeGPhB 11-24-2008 04:35 PM

Congrats!

Thanks all, I appreciate it!

Still working on names and it's taking a while. It's such a big decision and there are too many factors to consider. It doesn't help that we were thinking of boys names until about 2 weeks ago!
