Wait, so the new sororities only get a ipad case, a tumbler, and a memo board in the new prints? Really? That's...dumb.

I thought those were additions to the makeup bag, tote, scarf, and wristlet. If not, that's stupid. I wouldn't buy any of those things. My friends in the sororities who do have prints were all about getting the tote and if they aren't offered anymore I feel like the new sororities with prints will be upset.

I hope you are right. The only thing I'd consider is a scarf.

A Lilly thread! So nice! I've never seen anyone in Lilly out here in my neck of the woods other than myself, and I was getting the feeling that no one around understood the goodness that is Lilly and my other fave, Kate Spade. :D

I really like most of the Sorority prints...with some that were (to me) gorgeous standouts.

Anyone familiar with sizing? I seem to be right on the border so I ordered up on a dress, knowing it can be taken in. I wanted to get a few tops too, but I was unsure what to do. :/ (PS, once you can get through on the website, this sale is AWESOME!!!)

I just looked at the sale stuff, and OMG the dresses are SHORT! I think I was expecting more conservative stuff, given how often we talk about Lilly for recruitment.

I think you have to remember that the models are most likely 5'8+. I'm wearing a Lilly dress at my conservative office right now and it hits my knees.

I thought that too! But the description of the dress I bought (which looked super short) said it was "29 3/4" from top of princess seam to hem". I measured it against my own body and it looks like it will hit much closer to my knees.

I was looking at the Lana top, the Cassie top and then the sweater I wanted is gone :(

Roughly 90% of my tops (mostly from Express, The Limited, Gap, etc.) are smalls, so I'm leaning that way. But all those stores have that vanity sizing BS and somehow I can fit into a size 2 in some Express stuff. In REAL women's sizes (like my wedding dress for example), I'm like a 6.

The Lilly dresses look to be 2-3" shorter than BR or J.Crew on similar styles, and at my height, those inches make a huge difference. I can't do a direct comparison, though, because the Lilly stuff I'm looking at gives a "waist to hem" measurement, and the places I usually shop give a "shoulder to hem" measurement. In any case, if something hits the model mid-thigh, I'm assuming it will be too short on me.

I really like the Somerset dress, but I think it's just not meant to be.

I would go for the small in both. Lilly shirts run similar to J.Crew and Gap.

I impulse bought the navy Quinn dress a week or so ago when I went in to look at the sorority things in person, and thankfully only paid $2 more than the online price. I can handle that. As awesome as the deals are, I couldn't bring myself to buy more summer clothes with fall so close at hand! Bring on the boots and sweaters, please.

Aaaaaaannnd 3 tops & 1 sweater later (not to mention the dress I bought yesterday), I need to close my browser immediately. But hey, it was only $116 for everything (originally $492 WOO HOO!)

I hear ya! The dress I bought will have to wait til next year to be worn as it's summer-y. Probably the same case for one of the tops too. But the other 2 tops are solid colors that I think can be pulled off in the fall...and the sweater screams fall. I guess I could have found those 3 at department stores, but with the sale they were about the same price I'd be willing to pay at department stores, so why not. :)

I'm holding off on dresses until the winter sale comes. Stocked up on a few items for gifts. The Lilly website had major meltdowns yesterday and by some miracle I got in at 6 am and bought two scarves before it crashed. Lucky for me, because they are now gone, baby, gone.

Oh I love their solid tops! I grabbed a few at the warehouse sale and they're so soft and versatile. I was eyeing a few of their longer sweaters/tunics and trying to figure out if I could wear them with skinnies or leggings, but a lot of them were sold out in my size this morning so that made that decision for me. It doesn't help that my textbook budget is seriously cutting into my cute clothes budget right now! If only the sale was next week, haha.

I snagged one of these in navy yesterday. I'm debating any other tops because I've never tried them on. In other exciting Lilly news, I found the one and only store that sells Lilly in Portland. It just opened last month and I already bought a dress.

I was debating that sweater in navy or orange. I settled on navy and they were out :(

I fought with the site for HOURS yesterday trying to get a dress for $39 but failed. Lilly runs super big on me (I rented a 0 from Rent the Runway and had to pin myself in it and hide them with a bow!) so I'm wary on buying their clothes

Instead I spent just under $30 for the Spring necklace and a lunch tote for work. I'm excited for their flash sales, if they actually happen

I don't know if they are doing the flash sales. Here is why from facebook:

I ordered 4 dresses on Tuesday. Just by looking at them online, I know I'm going to have to get them taken in many places (I'm 5'7 but my chest is like a 36DD) so I ordered a size up, knowing that I'll have to get them taken in at the waist. This is fairly common for me. But now I'm also pretty sure I'm going to have to get the hem let out because most of their dresses are the same length and I err on the side of caution when it comes to being conservative (I'm a teacher). Luckily I did snag a maxi dress and hopefully I will be able to wear it with just a few seams at the waist.

Can anyone tell me how the shorts run? I wear size 2 in most J Crew shorts a 0 in the less structured ones. Would I be safe ordering a 2 in Lilly? Thanks!

@IndianaSigKap--If they're anything like their dresses, the 0 is more like a normal 2 and the 2 is like a 4. I normally wear a 0 in dresses and thus got a 0 in Lilly...it was huge.

I've never bought anything Lily and I'm in love with this dress. I'm in betweem sizes...does any one know how Lily dresses run in the bust area?

I think they run small in the bust area, but it varies by style. The strapless style seems to run the smallest.

UGH! I had never ordered online and thus didn't know about the processing time. I wanted a dress by Saturday and bought two day shipping. It still hasn't shipped yet so I guess it won't make it. :(

Got my first order yesterday! :)

It's a dress that I will probably have to get taken in a bit, but since I will probably not wear it til next summer, I won't do anything until then. (I HOPE I'll still have to take it in next summer instead of leaving it as is...lol) Oh and best thing that I didn't realize until I put it on... POCKETS!!!!!!!!!

Now I'm awaiting order #2. I never got shipping confirmation and the order says processing still. I ordered it less than 24 hours than my first order. The thing I am concerned about is that I initially saw that I was charged twice for my order. I didn't dispute it immediately because I have learned that my bank seems to straighten things out on its own if I give it time. Now neither charge is there AND my dress charge is gone. Something is suspicious. I'm sending a note to make sure my order went through. I don't care how long it takes, as long as I get what I ordered...

Got both the Murfees I ordered today. Two people are going to be thrilled at Christmas.

^ One of my orders shipped and has already arrived. I just got the shipping confirmation for the second order so just hold out for a few days. I think they're inundated with orders.

Someone on the Lilly FB page said that they asked them why some orders take so long, and others don't, and their response was that some items aren't actually in their warehouse--they're shipping them from physical stores! So if your items were in the warehouse, they probably will/went out way sooner than if your item was actually located in some random location.

Also--hope everyone loves the free gift!
