my neck and a part of my back
are covered in bites.
I cant scratch them,
try as I might.
Hot and humid,
the weekend's weather was
and subsequently, I was attacked
mercilessly
by mosquito bugs.

I noticed too that gas by my house
dropped by a penny.
Did anyone notice?
Hopefully, not too many.

the subway smog
will surely be gross
the dress is so pretty lightweight
so i know i wont roast
would it be tacky
to change when i get there?
i feel like i'll arrive flustered
and ill sweat through my hair
