I saw the movie last night and fell in love! I never really got into the show itself (too busy for television) but I think I'm going to go back and watch every single episode now!

And those wedding gowns... I fell in love...

My friends and I went to see it this weekend in a big group of 10 of us. We thought the movie was great but the whole theatre was cracking up about the mics that were visable throughout the movie.

I guess I am the only one who was disturbed by some of the ways they "resolved" their issues. It was romantic and all, but dumb moves in my eyes. Also throughout the series I was NEVER rooting for Big. Whenever she tells him off I'm like "Go Carrie!" but she always goes back for more.

Saw the movie this weekend as well and loved it. We have a movie Theater called The Alamo Drafthouse. You can have a full meal and drinks. They even had a special menu for the movie-you could order cocktails named after the girls and they were all made with champagne (very yummy).

I cried the most when they showed Carrie looking into the mirror at the resort in Mexico-she looked so sad and tired. I could relate, I have my own "Big" but finally told him to get lost a few years ago though we still talk. He broke my heart way too many times. I didn't catch the mic problem either.

this movie was so... necessary. that's the only word i can use to describe it. I enjoyed the film and would love to see the same "story" from miranda or samantha's angle. great great movie with a lot of strong, memorable moments.

i sniffled throughout the movie, and boo-hoo cried at some points. however, i waited until i got into my car to really let the waterworks go... i cried myself into a headache! then last night talking to my best friend who is 3 states away, we cried on the phone while discussing the movie. i'm SUCH a sucker.

I didn't see the mics at my showing on Friday 12am but I did look. I noticed that the theater had the movie showing so that heads were getting clipped off at the top rather than having those mics show!

Sometimes I agree about the whole "Big" thing. How long does it take you to figure out that you should be together. There is no way that I could date someone that long, help him cheat on his wife, ruin my own relationships time after time and then have him do all the stuff that he did in the movie and STILL want to be with him. I don't have that much love.

Join the "Sucker Club." I'm still emotional about that movie. I'm just a big ole softie. :p

So who else is seeing it again? I think I'm going later this week with my mom.

If I go, this will be the second movie I see twice during the theatre release. The last one? Titanic (please don't laugh!).

I've seen it twice already and now that I can watch it whenever, let the waterworks go! :D And yes, I saw Titanic three times in the theater and I believe that was the last movie I saw more than once in the theater also, lol.

I'm dragging a Sex & The City "Virgin" with me to see it on Friday. She has never seen the show but is curious to see what all the hoopla is about.

I brought my friend who was exactly the same as yours to see it on Sunday night. After the movie, she was like that was the ultimate chick flick and I need to watch the show now!!!

I think its funny that nobody bothered to check and see to make sure the dress was an original for her.
