LOL, that was definitely a Nupe moment, and where do you get your siggies, Phi. Your new one is off the hook.:D

Here's a Nupe moment for you. This happens to me all the time with NPHC ladies though. This happened two weeks ago at Caribou Coffee. (but happens to me a lot) This young lady came into Caribou and she had on an XYZ jacket. I walked in behind her, and I made a comment about her sorority jacket. It was nice. So we started talking in line, and here's how the conversation went.

Me: That's a nice jacket. Where did you pledge?

Her: Thank you, I pledged at .... State

Me: When did you pledge?

Her: 98'

Me: oh o.k. that's alright.:)

Her: So are you in an organization?

Me: Yup (waiting for her to say what I knew she was going to say)

Her: let me guess...Kappa

Me: Wow, how did you know?:D:rolleyes:

Her: C'mon now, quit playin' you know you look like a Kappa.

Me: I guess I'll take that as a compliment then.:D

Another Nupe Moment. (Damn, this would be a good title to a thread "Nupe Moments":D)

Hey Phi, do you know any brothers from Kappa Chapter, or Alpha Theta?

I mentioned it earlier, but my brother pledged at Kappa chapter the same year I pledged at DZ. He knows a lot of Nupes from Vanderbilt, TSU and Fisk. When I was in TN visiting my brother while he was attending Meharry, the greek shops there were everywhere. Is it still like that? I loved Nashville when I was there.

Yeah, I have met some Bruhs from the Kappa Chapter. A.T. is EVERYWHERE...lol! Nashville seems like it is NUPE CITY for real! There are only two greek shops now. The one over by TSU is the HOT SPOT. If you come back you should hit me up!

Yup, when I was down there, I saw more Nupie license plate frames more than any other fraternity. There's only two greek shops? What happened to the rest of them?

I wouldn't go back to Nashville at all without getting in touch with you Phi. I'll PM my info to you so if you're ever in my area, or at CSU for homecoming, let me know.
