I love these "different" bouquets:

Those bouquets are really pretty and unusual! One of my coworkers is planning to make her bouquet out of vintage costume jewelry brooches. I think it is a great idea!

I'm obviously using the wrong websites, but what's the budget for flowers? I have 3 attendants, the groom, 3 groomsmen, MIL, my godson for bouquets or boutonnieres. A single flower will be on the cake, and I don't think we're using floral centerpieces (lanterns). Anybody want to tell me what's "normal"? I spent a lot of the evening looking at florists, and am glad that I haven't had a heart attack!
ETA: I'm still not positive if I'm carrying a bouquet or my g-g-grandmother's Bible - with a flower on it, of course. Also, I'm thinking blush/cream roses and magnolias as the main flowers. |
"Normal" depends on the type of bouquets you're seeking, what type of flowers you want to use, whether they're in bloom at the time of your event, etc.

We changed our colors, lol This is what we're doing now:

^^ LIKE!! Ours is still the cobalt blue, with light (azure) blue and white accents. Lots of snowflakes.
I'm seriously considering stopping at a craft store, and discussing silk flowers with someone there. We are too close to be able to pay cash for a condo to wreck this budget! |

All but the last two were overkill for me.
