I just found out my cousin pledge Tri Delta at FSU. She's the eighth woman in my family to go greek and the second Tri Delt (my mom being the first). We are thrilled. :)

I just found out that-FINALLY- a great girl I wrote a rec for went ADPi!!
At Georgia College and State University! She emailed me towards the end of rush and said that it was what she REALLY wanted, but then I heard- nothing! Guess she was out w/ her sisters!:D

And.....I was informed that another great girl from a private school close to my area went ADPi at Georgia Southern, my chapter! So I'm ticked blue!!

Now...two more universities to go w/ girls from this area, and I'm done!

Two of my students rushed at FSU.....one went Theta and the other AXO!!

Can we get this thread sticky'd to the top? Sometimes I totally can't find it when it's right in front of my face. :o

I think we've had more GC ZTA's and ADPi's pledged/reported this year on GC than ever before! LOL.

My friend/co-worker is rushing at University of Detroit-Mercy. The sororities that I can figure out that are there:

Gamma Phi Beta
Kappa Beta Gamma
Sigma Sigma Sigma

The girl who went DG at LSU was a girl I wrote a rec for, not my daughter... these girls are all my sister's friends! I'm only 23, so I don't even think it is biologically possible for me to have a daughter rushing!!!! :)

For those of y'all who didn't see this bit of news in our Forum, one of our strongest chapter just pledged the at least 4 times great-granddaughter of one of our Founders, Ella Pierce Turner!!

If I remember correctly, the ADPis in this family all get initiated with one of the original Adelphean pins! How I'd love to see that!

I helped a girl that went to FSU get a rec from my aunt for Delta Zeta and emailed a friend of mine in Kappa Delta about her. She was also a legacy to Alpha Chi Omega and Zeta Tau Alpha (her stepmom wrote me a rec as well). She eventually ended up at Alpha Chi Omega at FSU which is soo cool because her sister is an A-Chi-O sophomore at UF!! I am SOOO happy for her:)
