I don't know very many Asians. So, what's wrong with asian girls?

I wonder how this will all work for my niece. She was adopted from China, so she is genetically chinese, however she is being raised by my brother who is a first generation American (parents are off the boat from Germany) and my sister-in-law who is half Cherokee and half white "mutt" (her term).
So my niece might more closely identify with white culture than asian.

It is the culture she feels more closely identified to... She would have to decided and make that determination.

Should it be a big deal, anyways? Just asking.

Besides, I have biracial 2 year old nephew. There are some thoughts that his mother, who is caucasian will remarry and it won't be to another black man, like my brother...

So, it will have to be to the culture my little guy will closely identify to... He ultimately would have to decide. And in the end, it doesn't really matter.

Elementary Lessons Relearned

Love has NO color. period. Hope we all can get a clue and stop quibbling over small things such as color. Love is Love and if you are blessed enough to find it... it is worth holding on to. If you are NOT willing to date outside of your race... you may need a check-up.

I can't argue with you on that, but other people outside of the relationship are what cause the problems.

That's funny because the average person's friends are the same race and ethnicity as they are. The average person worship and mingles with the same race and ethnicity of people. Is this choice or chance based on a segregated society? Either case, why's it so outlandish for the average person (with exception for certain minority groups like Asian women who have high rates of marriage to white men) to not date outside her or his race?

That's why this topic is so salient to me. I could give a damn who people love. It's the social relevance in the patterns of who they love.
