I wish I could go.

nauadpi 05-17-2007 07:31 PM

I would love to go too, but does not appear to be an option...

i was wondering about that myself...

In Arizona we posted a "let's meet at this time and this place" notice on the message board, but perhaps someplace off the public board here we can exchange names and chapters :)

ASUADPi 05-17-2007 11:10 PM

I was thinking about PMing everyone on the list and letting them know what our real names are :D.

Last time we met on formal night, so we could do that again.

Heck we could go for a couple of meetings so that we have tons of pictures. :D

thoughts?

there should be one person in charge of this so it doesn't get more confusing. my one and only suggestion, beings how this will be my first convention!

ASUADPi 05-20-2007 10:02 AM

I'll PM or email everyone.

What are convention goers thoughts about when we could meet?

polarpi 05-20-2007 11:18 AM

We *could* do multiple meetings - FD, ASUADPi and I (and WLFEO) met up the first night of Convention, and then we had the last night picture "meeting".

What information is going to make it easy for everyone to find one another? Obviously, names, but is there anything else so you're not going up to someone saying, "I see your name is *****, are you ***** on GC?" and getting some weird looks. :p

Just random thoughts for a Sunday morning - Bri, I'll get you my info soon :)

WLFEO 05-20-2007 03:16 PM

I think everyone should wear a bright orange hat with purple feathers. Also wear a lime green leotard with yellow elf shoes. That way you would be able to find each other immediately. :)

polarpi 05-20-2007 05:22 PM

I love you, <> :)

I'm SO looking for my yellow elf shoes right now ;)

I was thinking something easier. damn!

I was thinking just exchange cell phone numbers. :D

Not knowing the hotel I can't hazard a guess where we could meet. In Phoenix it was easy because I went to the hotel ahead of time, plus when I went home I could post on GC.

Then again we could get shirts. I know that sounds wierd but I just went to greekgear.com (I think) and ordered two screen print shirts and I got them within a week. Just a thought.

azureblue 05-21-2007 10:02 AM

How about ribbons? We could pick a color (white, azure, violet?) and all have them pinned on. That might be easier than ordering t-shirts.

That's a good idea since as delegates we will have lanyards with our names on them

honeychile 05-21-2007 09:54 PM

If y'all know each other IRL names, just pick a time and meet in the lobby next to the desk.

And no, that statement does NOT mean that I expect to be there (so take a LOT of pictures!!).

ADPiAkron 06-07-2007 12:10 AM

What is everyone wearing for a formal dress? I am having the toughest time finding something and some ideas might help!?! Thaaaaannnnks!
