Another Neo Question

PREFACE: I am asking for informational purposes only, please take this question in the inquiring light in which it is framed.
There seems to be no consensus on when to and when not wear our letters. Where alcohol will be served or not? And, yes, I have consulted all of the the books. Even old school/seasoned sorors disagree. I was at a Greek function where alcohol was served, and people were in letters; I was at a public place where alcohol was served and had an LS told to take her letters off. Where is this information, sorors?

Reading these 'nalia post has me grieving. I recently lost my beautiful satin Delta crossing jacket. It was a gift from my boyfriend and his roommate, who is a very good friend of mine. I am absolutely heartbroken. I got so many compliments from so many people on that jacket. It was GORGEOUS.......Okay, I'll stop crying now. I just needed to express my grief:(

That issue came up at the Chicago convention and was addressed by Soror Fudge - it's your official pin that is not be worn where alcohol is being served (I believe that is addresed in the P/T manual) other paraphenalia is fine, but the alcohol should not lead to unbecoming conduct with letters on.

TACKY

This seems like this person had good intentions, but doesn't everything kind of look like something that you might turn out in an arts and crafts class? Bless their hearts.

:D Thank you so much, Soror! I really appreciate the clarification! I believe decorum is important, so I'm going with your capable answer!

Have any of you SEEN the elephant display at Headquarters???

Do you know HOW MANY are there?

Do you know what they LOOK LIKE?

Do you realize that they don't have DELTA SYMBOLS on them?

Do you ever wonder WHY they were donated?

A friend of my mother's wanted to know if she was a REPUBLICAN when he saw my elephants I left at her house... After alll, it's THEIR symbol... not ours.

'Nalia Website

When my childhood friend crossed, I purchased some things from the website below and made her a DST gift basket. I painted a basket red , and decorated it with ribbon and pearls. She absolutely loved it! Especially the patches! The things I ordered were good quality and they have a lot to choose from. You can purchase some of the same things for the other sororities and the fraternities also! Just go to the home page.

Para Sites

Kelli uses:

http://www.thegreekshop.com (owned and operated by an AKA and a Sigma)

I bought back in 98 from stepshow.com (SOROR of DST) and got everything in wonderful condition as well.

You might also look in this thread for a para shop or two as well:
