I love, love, love boxers! They are so great with kids (very important with my boys - 4 and 5 yrs. old). My current wigglebutt is Kaiser Chief - only problem is he thinks he is a lap dog, and tries to "sneak" all 65 lbs. into your lap when you are not looking!

I prefer bigger dogs (Labs, German Shephards) but got a Bichon Frise when I moved into an apartment, and I'm obsessed with her...she has so much energy, and such a sparkly personality, loves every dog, cat, person, etc that she meets.

She doesn't look like a Bichon though...she's only 7lb, so we guess she was a runt, because one of her sisters belongs to one of mysisters, and she is 15lbs. And we keep Holly shaved, because on a daily basis she is rolling in mud, ripping open and getting covered in toothpaste, jumping into the bathtub to play when I'm heating up the shower in the morning...and her normally curly cotton coat is too much work for such a messy pup.

Pfffttt... What's with all the little dogs. Get an Alaskan Malamute. Now THAT'S a DOG.

Here's mine :)

Sorry for the pic it was taken with my phone

He's a Doberman... .something... mix. We think maybe greyhound or something because he's too tall for a Doby but he's got the Doby coloring exactly.

Besides mutts, my favorite breed would be Rottweilers as I love big dogs, and every Rott I've known would lick you to death before he'd growl at you.

He looks like a Black and Tan Coonhound. Looks pretty much all Coonhound from that pic.

Looks like a Doberman/Rottweiler mix to me. The tan eyebrows make me think Rottweiler.

ETA: Black & Tan Coonhounds have long ears and look a lot like bloodhounds.

Here's my girl Blue:

The day we brought her home

She's a Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog (whichever you prefer) with a smidge of German Shepherd in her.

Our next dog is going to be a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Probably within 2 years or so. Blue loved to herd everything, so she needs a friend to round up.

Well he's just too tall as far as we can tell.

His coloring is a little lighter than a traditional Doby or Rott (His name is Copper, cute no?) but not quite as light as that picture makes it look. The vet thought greyhound particularly because he has the bony head and he was really lean when we got him. The poor pup had been adopted and abandoned multiple times and saved from being destroyed each time by the vet's office because the city requires "dangerous" breeds be destroyed if not claimed.
Anyway, he's gotten to a healthy weight and now we really don't know what he is. Something big :) My friends call him the antelope :D

Oh and he's definately not a coonhound. I wish I had a picture of him running when he was a little younger (he's not old, just slowed down a little) you'd see he's a sleek running dog. Runs like a greyhound too.

I <3 my doggie.

He's cute no matter what he is, I was just going by the pic, which is pretty small and dark.

My favorite breed is the Chihuahua. I had one for 4 years, but she unfortunately passed away.

I know he's so needy too. That was a cell phone pic so I'll have to see if I can get a real one :D
