Am I the only person mad that Wu Tang didn't do more songs....Their first album is a classic and I still listen to it.

And is it me or did Eryka Badu look like Wonder Woman on crack:cool:

whiteandblack 10-17-2006 11:12 PM

I thought erykah would've come harder than that.

That reminds me when I went to a big concert here called summer jam and they cut their mics off because everyone else had went over their time and they couldn't perform.... let's see the Wu was not happy about that at all.

And crazy lady looked better than Wack Joe:p

whiteandblack 10-17-2006 11:29 PM

rakim could've gotten it back in the day. that part, that truck jewelry, that b-boy stance. look at me, I sound like a giddy teenager! 'microphone fiend' was my shit!

I think rakim and lyte should have had their own respective honorary tributes, a show catered only to them. It was good to hear the R's story. he's so elusive.

  11. Queen Latifah

Hmmmm, I'm not going to embark on a hip hop debate with you BUT you're a fool for not having the G.O.A.T (Rakim) as #1.

<------still in love with old school hip hop and ESPECIALLY Rakim

cjoanell 10-17-2006 11:31 PM

Every generation tells the next generation that they missed out on good music. I was raised around all genres of music from various generations, so I can truly say that I am musically cultured and have a genuine appreciation for the ART of music.

Music helps keep a lot of people sane, even those of us who didn't grow up in the hood. :)
