You're telling me! Even after five years I still can't get it completely straight, but yeah, chapters can snap bid up to a certain percentage of quota, if they choose to do so. Girls who don't match with any of the houses they preffed are eligible for that.

Yeah I was wondering about how that all worked out... we had I believe 63 girls in my pledge class this past Fall, and only one was a Junior (not counting for quota). Now I see how we got that extra girl! James, what's the name of your friend (if you don't mind me asking, of course!)?
