Hello sisters!

I received an email from EO today that said the launch of the new website is immenent.

Now I'm not making a promise that it will be up & running tomorrow - but we have got to be close.

If I receive any additional info, I'll be sure to keep you updated.

I can answer that question about the Adelphean article...

The website has been actually running "behind" the current website (at least that is how it was explained last summer @ VLS by the Technology team.) It's been a work in progress the whole time and the pictures came from that site.

It's actually kind of harder to describe than I had originally thought. I'm not the most technologically savvy person - just know enough to mess things up and not enough to fix them after I do.

I'm still gonna stick with May 15, 2005.

(mainly because I've been hearing "immenent" for almost the last year, so I have no faith in the word. LOL)

In an odd way, I'm a little happy about the delay. I'm no longer in the loop, but I am hoping this means they are taking a second look at the look and feel of the site.

I got to view the beta test of the site months agao and while I was really impressed with the new functionalities to alphadeltapi.org, the attempts to integrate the print look of ADPi and the web look of ADPi resulted in a very static and unelegant web design that did not match the "next level" the sorority was aiming to go for in using the web site as a promotional tool.

well it was up... and now at 11:05 PST is has changed back to the old site for me... I am curious if it was just a test or what...

But the new site looked nice, but I was finding some problems with it in terms of working...

For those of you lucky enough to get logged into pride online, you might still be able to see the new site... While the general public seems to still be seeing the old site...

All I can say is THANK GOD!!!!!!

I'm so happy. I was able to get addresses for sisters who were in my Alpha class.

Very nice website.


Oh, they have a "distinguished ADPi" section. It is nice to have the official website actually say that all the women we knew were sisters be recognized by the sorority. (if what I said actually made any sense).

edit: John Wayne's daughter is a sister, I totally didn't know that. :)

YEA!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited! I only wish I had time to play around on it now. I'm so swamped at work!!! :mad:

All I can say is, WOW! It is so awesome. I'm glad that I have 2 weeks off so I can check it all out! Dare I say that it was worth the wait? I'm impressed!
