Yikes! Stipes!:D (They remind me of that gum. )

They're very cute - although I hope you don't have AGD on your campus. Similar colors + names both starting with Alpha = confused PNMs.

LOL
We only have us, ADPi and Chi-O on campus.

lol, it does look like Fruit Stripe Gum

They look really cute!

What do I wear on a date with an ex? One that I actually like.

WinniBug 08-12-2008 08:49 PM

Something slutty!
lol

RaggedyAnn 08-13-2008 07:17 AM

Now I was going to say something completely the opposite. I would wear nothing special so you don't come off as desperate. I mean, look good, but not too good.

WinniBug 08-13-2008 08:22 AM

It was a joke...hence the laughter (yeah, HENCE!)
....Your advice is good...I would try to wow him, though. But be subtle about it.

33girl, I love you.

WinniBug 08-15-2008 04:13 PM

Why the Happy Dance?
Did something good happen?
Or just b/c it's Friiiiiiday?

33girl 08-15-2008 04:17 PM

BOTH!!

Also, one of my chapter sisters got engaged!! Yay!

WinniBug 08-25-2008 10:37 AM

Ok, so.....I want your opinion....

I went down to my hubby's hometown this weekend (for his cousin's baby shower). My birthday was Thursday, and his parents didn't even mention it when I was there. I haven't gotten so much as a "Happy Birthday" from either of them. Not even when his sister gave me a birthday card. Hubby and I even had to pay for everyone's dinner Saturday night. Would it be wrong of me to simply send his mom a card with a message in it that says "Glad we were able to take you all out for your birthday" and leave it at that??
(oh, her b-day's about a week after mine...she asked for $$ again in lieu of a gift, b/c she wants to buy herself a Wii that she can't afford)

I have had numerous run-ins with this woman, and each one makes me wish even more that I didn't have to have any contact with her.

RaggedyAnn 08-25-2008 03:18 PM

Personally, she'd get a card. If she had the nerve to ask where her present was, I'd say you assumed she knew you took them all out to celebrate. We don't do presents for the adults in my family though with the exception of the big ones. After high school, we celebrate 21, 30 and I assume it will be 40 next.

WinniBug 08-25-2008 03:49 PM

Lemme tell you what happened either last year or the year before....

Yet again, Joel and I went TO HER to celebrate her birthday. (Remember mine was the week before, and this was the first we'd seen of each other in a couple months) The three of us went to a Mexican restaurant in town, and Joel and I had already discussed picking up her tab for her, we just hadn't told her yet. One of her friends stopped by to chat, and casually asked "Oh, are they taking you out for your birthday?" to which my MIL nastily replied "No, blah, blah, something about paying for her own meal" After her friend left, Joel and I told her, "Actually, we had already decided that we'd take care of your ticket"

She's just a nasty small person.

RaggedyAnn 08-25-2008 04:04 PM

Then, I say you have already set the ground work without knowing it. I'd make it a tradition and make your life easier.
